Another reason Blizzard is losing employees

They are. States that banned Abortion and are seeking to punish women over it have seen a lot of people leave or deciding not to go to those states. The Old Head Republicans never wanted Abortion banned, they wanted it for rallying during voting season. It’s the New Age Republicans that forced this and it cost the Republicans hard and will cost them even harder in the future.

Again, do you have this in writing? No? Didn’t think so.

So I guess that is a yes. I guess we just take your word for it. lmao. No source, just yapping.

It’s okay. You so badly wish you were a part of the Elite.

But you’ll never be. You’ll just stay above the poverty line if you’re lucky.

So by your own logic, I am still more valuable than you are.

FIFTY years. FIFTY.
FIFTY years we had to codify abortion rights to at least make sure that if its a medical emergency its legal… and even when the Dems had total control, no one did anything.
Just befuddling.

A big part of this is the fact that in these states abortion is now illegal even if it is the only appropriate treatment to save the life of a woman who is miscarrying. They have to wait until she is dying before they can treat her, at which point it may be too late to save her, or she may never be able to bear children, or maybe impaired and never recover her health again.

Doctors don’t want to deal with risking losing their license or even criminal charges for trying to save a patient’s life, even if the legislature has its goal increasing the maternal death rate.

I mean, yes, if you just ignore all of the data showing that states like Texas and Florida have the most people moving to them and states like California, New York, and Colorado have the most people leaving them and go with “I hear this thing is happening” then you’re totally correct.

‘Listen and believe’.

Current data shows the trend is reversing. Normal people don’t want to live in a state that supports arming all crazy people with weapons of war and considers their kids murdered in school to be collateral damage. College students are choosing not to apply in red states. People actually aren’t interested in living in a state that seems to prioritize removing people’s rights. Your data is out of date.

I don’t think it matters if it is in writing. When Blizzard decided that hiring remote workers who do not live within commuting distance, they acknowledged that part of their workforce would be remote. Changing their mind and demanding that all these remote, long-distance workers come to the office shows that Blizzard decided in the beginning that they were hiring ‘disposable’ employees who they would cull when they initiated back-to-office in a year or two without ever making that clear to the hired employees.

Either way, Blizzard made unethical choices when it came to handling its WFH policies when the pandemic ended. They were awfully cavalier with a lot of people’s lives and it seems that they intentionally misrepresented their business policies from the beginning.

Why companies still work out of the most expensive places ever is beyond me. They certainly aren’t there for E3 or PAX or any other con, if it’s for services like internet I can assure you that it is 2023, not 1998 anymore, that :poop: is everywhere. Move to a place like North Dakota where rent is $20 and a half eaten grilled cheese, your employees will thank you.

As of four days ago, based on job and wage growth, competition, and livability:

https: //www. moneygeek. com/living/top-cities-job-seekers/

It looks like 14 of the top 15 cities for job seekers are in red states. Maybe anecdotes from Twitter activists will pay out in data eventually but so far we aren’t seeing it.

People talk a lot about having their rights taken away from them but at the end of the day a lot of them don’t want to live in insanely expensive places that have high crime, no opportunities, and will shutter their business over a coof.

No. It definitely is. Until you show me a contract that states WFH was permanent then you have nothing. Hearsay. Guesses. Speculation.

They need to relocate to somewhere that actually gets, you know, blizzards.

Come to Minnesota, Blizzard!

Woah what state can I get an Aircraft Carrier in?

Don’t know but I want to live there.

I’d like to by some of those old 90’s stealth bombers too. Those look so cool.
