He didn’t get banned. He got muted. Ask him if the arguement with a random stranger was worth it.

Eh… GRIZZLY FROM REDDIT abused the automated ban system during the AQ event in classic. It worker - the guy was banned - but they were later banned themselves for abusing the report system and the guy‘s ban was reversed.

There is an automatic ban system, or at least there was one 3 years ago.

I know the difference between a temporary suspension and a permanent one. This community fails to differentiate between the two so sometimes it’s just easier to use the nomenclature of the people you’re trying to inform.

False, it was a coincidence. When millions of players are playing the game, coincidences sometimes happened. Who woulda thunk!

You can call them liars BUT they specifically claimed he wasn’t banned because of “abuse of the report system” but something else entirely.

AQ event brought out the absolute worst in people. For example: Staysafe ordered his stream goons to verbally harass my guild members for having the audacity to try to farm the mount for one of ours when all scales were clearly his due to streamer privilege, and because he’s a terrible terrible person who should receive no backing from anyone ever.

I remember hearing about a server that mass reported anyone who sold GDKP runs in lfg chat. Cleared up their lfg chat.

Gdkps arent against TOS so ultimately nothing would happen to them. What is against TOS however is abusing the report system…

That’s a pretty good one but the game is drowning in bots. You can farm honor cap sitting outside botanica. It’s borderline an exploit lol.
