Seriously start BANNING these people if i report them
A feral which should kill my Ret effortlessly, opened up on me, trinketed my blind and ate my stun and after 6 globals he disappeared.
That means he started the queue after the stun this is utterly sad and needs to be fixed. It’s griefing at this point in wpvp quests and all the Horde doing it in groups in SW who can’t &*%$ off to stockades
How do you know they took a follower queue? They could have been queued for anything. I typically fly around and do stuff while queued for blitz. If I’m in the middle of a fight and my queue pops I’m taking it because I don’t want to have to wait another 5 minutes for a missed queue. Sorry but whomever I am fighting is not as important as my queue.
And even if they did, it’s not something that is bannable. If Blizzard wants to disallow it (and don’t get me wrong, I think it should be changed somehow), they could simply make it so you can’t queue for follower dungeons while you are in pvp combat. It would be easier than trying to ban everyone who does it.
Such a coward. The fact that a stealth class opened up on you, and had to resort to “creative use of in-game mechanics” to escape a death is so lame.
Entering combat should not allow you to take any queues and not allow you to mount for 10 seconds after exiting combat. To stop those damn night elves and their meld.
They’re not wrong tho, people have been queueing to get out of stuff before the follower dungeons. Solo queue arena was pretty much an insta queue for a bit there. (might still be, havent done it lately.)
I think whats different about follower dungeons is that it is a guaranteed instant queue.
Tell me you can’t read without telling me that you can’t read
I said “basically” I guess you’re smart pointing out AMS and kind freeze jukes that while a feral ferocious bites you for 2m and kills you anyways cause plate is paper now.
It’s an exploit and while annoying in wpvp, it’s actually a cheat in FFA pvp quests now and that’s where officially is a problem
While the follower dungeon system has provided a more consistently on-demand queue, it’s no different from taking other queues, which people have done for a decade. People used to do the exact same thing with skirmishes, the early days of shuffle, etc.
If you want the person so badly, try camping where they took the queue.
dont waste your time waiting, a smart ganker will just hearth after the queue accept.
like said, coming from a server where everyone at one time wpvp’d, toys and get out of fight gimmicks were a thing. they didnt fix it then, they wont fix it now.
Blizzard has explicitly allowed for queuing and entering queues while in combat. Like the practice or not, it’s no exploit.
The only realistic fix for it is adding a debuff for leaving follower dungeons, same as other content. They aren’t going to change the ability to queue or take queues in combat.
they can also do other stuff. like join a random quest/world boss group to get away due to phasing. a true troll would have a alt account on another server and just macro a invite and phase away. theres countless ways to do this. you close one door, 4 more will open.
imagine this with toys back in the day. you have it easy.
Instant queue with no penalty for leaving. It’s very different from normal queues. I don’t think normal queues are a problem though really, because they won’t pop when you need them.
I also remember the days when you couldn’t take queues while you were in combat but then they changed it at some point.
90% of the people I encounter who follower dungeon just hearth out of the dungeon. Not a very viable strat to camp the area they took the queue, especially when they can just queue for another one.
They could change it for follower dungeons specifically. Follower dungeons are their own category of instance, you can view the specifics on sites like wago. For example, scenarios I believe are type 3?
Point being, instances have their different types and they could apply things to those different types easily.
