You sound paranoid about something that’s likely to only happen infrequently and seldomly. Try to focus on other aspects of the game rather then some big bad secret cooperative that’s only purpose is to ruin your game play and undermine the things you’re trying to accomplish.
Thats why it needs to be stated outright. Trial Accounts Cannot Access Classic. Until then there is still a possibility that it will be available to trials.
Yup, I agree, Blizzard needs to make a statement on that.

nothing will ruin my game. The whole purpose of these forums is to discuss topics. I’ll be fine if its in the game or not. I just want people to consider this.
When hasn’t a person been able to own two accounts and /who on the opposite faction? Did this change once Warmode was introduced? I’m just not sure how this only applies to Classic. If it was something changed in like TBC or Wrath maybe, but again, it did happen for quite a long time.
Its always been in the game but its become more of problem now that more people are abusing it. It wouldn’t harm anything for a person to have that option to conceal their location to randoms.

And how are people just “now” abusing it if it’s been around since the inception of the game? Sounds like a Vanilla mechanic that you just don’t want.

If someone wants to pay $15 a month just to know what zone I am in, then let them. Its really not that big of a deal. I’ll tell them if they want. Zones are pretty big. I’ll be in one of them.

you have a very loose definition of abusable. Yes it can be used to assist in killing the other faction and engaging in PvP which is why you are on a PvP server in the first place right ? I don’t know why you don’t encourage the other faction seeing where you are so you can get that unruly, unbalanced PvP that you say you want.

Blizzard could prove it, sure. But the “good luck” is probably more of a “good luck making a case that would make a Blizz GM inclined to actually investigate.”

Well come on you know the only way they could get killed was if the other person cheated in same way ! They are the gods of PvP and if they die to another player there must be shenanigans going on… shenanigans I say !!! Blizzard should also know this and investigate based strictly off their report of being killed.

No one is buying two accounts just to get back at someone who ganked them. That is silly. If you are buying two accounts, you are multi boxing, which is much more worth it than the ability to track another specific player.
^^ this and as you can’t multibox cross faction (at least not in any easy way without causing some pure shenanigans) they would have both accounts have the same faction on the same PvP server.
I am actually considering adding time to my second account and multiboxing in Classic (as I have 4 screens)
Its pretty useful to settle grudges and track people down. Especially when you factor in where they are and why they would be in there in the first place. All you need to do is check a few locations and farming spots (maybe less so for gathering). A 60 mage in feralas for example is obviously on his way to diremaul.
All PvP problems can be solved with PvP solutions. If someone is tracking you down and killing you just git gud.
