Anniversary Stream Event Youtube confusion

Says the following.

"Watching on any of the three platforms will earn in-game rewards for all three game titles.

Start Time: November 13 at 10:00 am PST
End Time: December 11 at 10:00 am PST
Where to Watch: Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok"

So I missed the live stream and started watching it a few minutes ago. Accounts are linked. Don’t have an option under the player window to connect. But it says I have until Dec 11th to watch it, on any of the 3 streams. Is that a true statement or is it a dead deal for the Youtube version now?

On one hand I’m not sure. There will be other E-sports events coming up under the Warcraft channel, and other streamers under YouTube. I’m not sure how drops work under that site though, only Twitch.

If it is stating the end date to get the drops, and also including for YouTube, then the statement is correct.

I also want confirmation on this. I’m connected but no connect button under the playback on youtube. You guys need to either clarify this or fix whatever issue is happening.

I don’t think it is suppose to work under playback, only during the live streams.

Then why is the end date a month after the live stream? Makes zero sense. We need a blizz employee to clarify this.

AWC finals are this Friday-Sunday on YouTube for sure, I think Twitch as well.

I have not checked other live WoW streams on YouTube yet.

The line directly above the part you quote says “watch on any Warcraft, Hearthstone, or Warcraft Rumble stream” which implies that it cannot be archived. Only Live channels qualify.

Kozzae has provided the next opportunity for YouTube users, whereas Twitch and TikTok users have the opportunity whenever.

Hmn. Swore I hit edit on the previous post, but I guess not.

This is what I figured to be the case.
But a stream is a stream, doesn’t have to be live, and the information given doesn’t specifically say “Live” stream.
I’m streaming music right now but it’s prerecorded.

There are tons of streamers on Twitch right now streaming World of Warcraft content. Look for any of them that say !Drops enabled.

Edit: just make sure you have your Bnet account linked to Twitch.

While the semantics can be debated, all previous giveaways have had the requirement of active (live) streams. No reason given that this one would be any different.

And yes, I know. :dracthyr_nod:

But YouTube is the subject of this thread.

Yeah, that’s just it.
I don’t do the 3 Ts (Twitch, Twitter or TikTok).
Call me old, or old-fashioned, but I have no use for them. If I miss a mount because that’s the only option, then so be it. I’ve had worse.

Sorry Ekon, I didn’t mean the reply for you. It was supposed to be for the OP.
