Anniversary realms not loading

Not quite sure if this is the place to go to, but not sure where to turn. When I try to log into my characters on Nightslayer, it defaults to my era characters. I logged out and back in, no change. Updated, no change. Other than opening a ticket on DD and waiting years, what am I missing here?

Your sure u logging into classsic not retail.

I am sure.

So just so were clear under launcher ur selecting ur selecting

live classic
WOW classic
not

Live
wow

Solved…I didn’t complete the last update…derp.

Thanks folks!

Glad u got it sorted it happens,

Im in the same boat. Can not log into anniversary realm account. I logs me into classic era instad. i have disabled all addons, uninstalled and deleted all wow files. this issue is happening on 2 seperate accounts on 2 seperate laptops. made sure all updates have been downloaded and installed. version: 1.15.5.58555 - classic

Are you making sure to switch from Classic Era to Anniversary on the dropdown before you hit play?

It doesn’t matter if you choose Anniversary Realms or Hardcore Anniversary Realms, it will default to loading Classic Era each time.

I have repeatedly tried it as well. I have the correct options selected and they are still selected when I exit from Classic Era.

UPDATE: I let it launch Classic Era and then I just selected the Realm list and then chose Anniversary from there. I made a new character and logged in to them. Then exited the game. I was able to get back to that Anniversary character from the launcher then, without it defaulting to the Era character.

Different issue than the OP of this thread had, then.

I reckon posts would want to go to the Desktop App Tech Support forum, in that case.

I’ve beene playing for over 20 yrs. I work in IT and I’m sure it is an issue with the latest patch. yes, I know how to launch all the different versions

That worked, i was able to go in via classic and then hit the anniversary tab and log into my server

That’s great to hear. But we have no idea who you are here.

Troubleshooting always starts at step one.
