Even if true, I doubt they could turn the quest in given that the quest isn’t in the game on Anniversary Servers.
SoD boons are back to 2.8g on the AH and people are commenting that they STILL work.
While people were sharing the class quests, and are selling class quests, the tomes actually did not make it through. They’re just linking it in chat, which you can link anything long as you have the script info.
They’re never on the AH and thats the prime indicator that the tomes did not pass over. Some scrolls did, though. They WERE on the AH last night.

Agree adding boon to the game was a bad idea on a direction the dev team had no idea about how it affects the game.

If I make 1,000 gold from the boons that means people lost the same amount of gold.
No new gold was generated, all that happened was gold changed hands.
It has no effect on the game besides the people who lost their gold.
It isn’t going to make mana potions cost more.

It does though. The effect on the game is that exploitative, scammy behavior is further normalized and accepted, even encouraged.

Looks like blizzard is just going to let this issue fade away into obscurity like they did with the SoD transfers not releasing old player names… Surprising how little control over the actual game they have. If they are unable to effectively remove sod boons from anni servers, they probably cant do much else. GDKP probably wont even get you banned at this point. Can’t wait for the next show of incompetency from this dev team.
