Anduin Wrynn Missing (An End to the Killing)

I’m trying to turn in the quest in the subject, but Anduin is missing and I’m not sure which quest(s) are moving him around.

You may also look at the Legion intro questline. Sometimes, the breadcrumbs auto-accept and you may need to do a short questline there.

Yeah, I just finished that questline as I read this, also the only legion quest I have is the one you get right after getting it off the warboard. Could that still do it?

It could. The Legion intro quest is notorious for phasing issues.

You should be able to skip the scenario and jump right to Dalaran to turn it in, if you wish.

It looks like you have “The Legion Returns” in your quest log, Vaediirn, but you obviously just picked that up. You may be able to abandon that to return things to normal (or at least not have that impact the area).

Otherwise, you were on the On Whispered Winds storyline, but you aren’t done yet. You need to complete the quest line through “A New Hope”. Which is the one after Warfront: The Battle for Darkshore.

How to you get A New Hope? There is no NPC at the listed location on the map. I just finished Warfront.

  1. This thread is about Anduin missing from Stormwind, not Maiev missing from Darkshore.
  2. You should start a new thread instead of using one four months old.
  3. Does the Alliance control Darkshore?
  4. Are you in Present time where Teldrassil is burning?

That does seem to be one of the main reasons, so please check if the Alliance is in control or not. If not, check back when they are.

I’m replying to, or at least I thought I was, Vrakthris’s post—“You need to complete the quest line through ‘A New Hope’. Which is the one after Warfront: The Battle for Darkshore.”—to get Anduin to reappear in the throne room, because he is missing for me as well. I don’t know how to play through the quest chain until the alliance control Darkshore if I can’t start the quest A New Hope, as I believe that’s next. As for my tardiness, there are many threads covering this topic in the last few years, why reinvent the wheel. I picked one with people who seemed to know what they are talking about.

The reason why you have to reinvent the wheel is because what information was accurate then could be outa date now were talking 2 expansion. Despite what the necrolords would say necroing a thread more then a few weeks old is never a good idea.

I was in the same spot, then I did the quests Fallen Lion, Demons Among Us, and Illidari Allies. When I went back into the throne room, I was able to finish An End to the Killing quest, and with it The Strike on Zuldazar story line to get the Ready for War achievement,
