And now...Tyrande is too strong

The concept of Tyrande now is even worse than what is was before the tweaks. I understand the complaints when Tyrande did her transformation, that she still seemed weak, but how is this the solution?

You present her with the power to annihilate entire armies with a single spell cast. The power to one-shot higher beings.

Lore-wise, why does she not have the capability to just march up Darkshore and single-handedly defeat the entire Horde? Why does she not have the capability to raze Orgrimmar?

You just presented the Alliance with yet -another- super saiyan concept of a leader that once again we question why they dont just go in and end the threat.

You buckled to the whining of some Alliance fans, only to present what is frankly an even worse scenario. It feels like an even worse storyline.

God-like leaders is not the solution Blizzard. It just makes it worse.

I still don’t understand why she, and Malfurion, aren’t the leaders of the Alliance itself and instead put forth a human child with no experience commanding armies in such a position.

That’s ok, her crummy writing will effectively neuter her newfound power in time, don’t you worry.

Which just makes it even worse.

We are presented with these “God-like leaders” that we are told have the power to destroy entire cities
then see them in action being backhanded into submission, or worse yet, dont see them in action to begin with because ‘reasons’.

Oh believe me, I agree with you wholeheartedly there. Ugh.

She’s always had that. She used a similar spell to lay waste to an entire army of undead in WC3.

Except Nathanos

Preach it.

Malfurion is/was the leader of the neutral Cenarion Circle, making him leading the Alliance to be unlikely. As for Tyrande she is far too aggressive, even Varian schooled her during Mists of Pandaria.

Anduin is the High King because he is a balanced leader, he listens to counsel and does not continue the war out of spite or hatred. For all his flaws he’s a good king, and will continue to be one after the war ended during peace time.

Varian was before him. And he was a worthier carrier of the title.

I remember that quest. She was standing on a bridge and destroying mindless ghouls coming at them with starfall. It wasnt technically the same thing as 1-shotting actual geared up troops. It felt more like just cleaning out the trash.

Would you have been more satisfied if instead of ghoul units she had been massacring abominations and crypt fiends?

Honestly, I want a bad king. I want to see some gray injected into the alliance, let us be warmongers for once, y’know, just to make things interesting.

Alliance leaders are infinitely more powerful than horde leaders. Tyrande, Malfurion, Jaina, Velen, Turalyon, Alleria
against a risen archer, a fat goblin, and some random orc and Tauren warrior?

The only reason horde isn’t dog poo is because story.

Which is all foot soldiers are. Especially Undead ones :smirk:

A bad king is Anduin. Inexperienced, untested, and clearly not ready for the position. And for warmongering
that was definitely Varian. Kinda why I liked him. You know he would’ve helped the night elves over attacking some random trolls he’d never even talked to before in his life.
I miss Varian.

There’ll never be peace in Azeroth. Not as long as the Horde and Alliance continue to exist together.

Yeah, but the alternate is good storytelling, so we can’t have that!

I suppose I meant morally bad, not inexperienced and boring bad.

Don’t worry. Knowing the writers for this expansion, she’ll die in some unseen event and show up later in the expansion as a forsaken NPC.

She’s not strong enough to take out Nathanos and a few Forsaken soldiers even with Malfurion and the Alliance PC’s help. I see no reason to make her the avatar of Elune’s fury only to still struggle against a handful of Horde goons.
