Happy to see this. I would rather a complete game than a month of beta testing on live. Everyone complaining about not having anything to do…it’s WoW…go find something to do, it’s not that hard.
they also said Shadowlands was coming out the 26th
Hurray! This is a tough decision but, after spending time on the beta, it’s clearly the right decision. It doesn’t feel ready and its really good to see that Blizzard is taking the time to get this right.
Looking forward to Shadowlands being awesome!
Good Call Blizz, let’s get it right.
Two Axioms for you from when I was in my beloved Corps:
Slow is smooth, Smooth is fast
And every NCOs favorite:
Keep it Stupid Simple.
Lets do this right the first time and let it roll from there!
why working from home should be even named? most companies in IT were already there. and is been months since it started. is not like corona just started one week before the release and we didn’t know what to do.
Aye give me my money back.
Because someone at Blizzard took a stance against pushing out a completely unfinished product for a change.
I’m not professing my undying love for them, but usually deadlines supersede quality these days. I’m tired of things being released under the premise of “we can patch it later” while still charging full price.
I’m also possibly giving them a bit too much credit because this feels like a decision only the old team would have the guts to make.
Because they didn’t just push the date we all know was going to be an epic disaster.
Look at the state many AAA titles ship in these days, they usually don’t care cause they can just fix it later.
Thank you Blizz. Take the time to release a good product.
Lol touche
You are really hopeless you still don’t understand what the real issue is
This is fine.
Any chance of extending that Reputation buff 'til the Shadowlands prepatch?
Can I get a pause on my subscription? I only subbed this much due to shadowlands release date being announced.
I hate to tell you this, but they don’t owe you jack. Delays are common across the industry this years.
Also to your point “No one wants a month long pre-patch” you do realize pre-patches from previous expansions were in excess of 40+ days… in other words, well over a month.
Your post comes off as a childish rant from an over privledged child who didn’t get the toy he wanted when his mother took him to the grocery store.
Grow up
Bigger companies have a harder time adapting to all remote. Which in BLizzards case doesn’t matter because they fired most of their staff earlier in the year and the year prior.
Oh, I understand. But your manner in which you speak to people and aim to talk to others is something that’s not really capable of being reasoned with. Thus, I reassure you: it will be fine, my friend. It’s gonna be all good.
Your complaint was about inconvenience. My comment is that while you might be inconvenienced, in the beginning, it won’t mean much anyhow. It’s going to be all good in the hood.
Woosah. In and out.
There’s a reason you’re not on the dev team.
There’s a reason you’re not on the dev team.
There’s a reason you’re not on the dev team.
why would you sub a month before release?
Respectable move on Blizzards part. The game was not ready for this months deadline.
Will we still be able to work on our Mad World achieves and Brutosaur stuff etc since its delayed? Seems silly to take those away now since so many are still working.
My respect for blizzard just went up by a fair bit. Absolutely the best choice with the current situation.
