An Update on Shadowlands

Trash decision imo. People requested time off of work.

How are you releasing pre-patch on the 13th but can’t have the expansion ready in time.

Garbage.

Extremely disappointed. Just put out the prepatch now, tired of having nothing to do.

This is an excellent decision.

Make WoW great again!!! Biding your time trumps profits!

Todos esperamos que cumplan con el factor calidad, ya hay un antecedente (WC3 reforged) en el cual atrasaron la fecha de lanzamiento y pues el resto es historia.

Point is, regardless of how long or how short I’m not gonna lose sleep over a delay and kinda glad some companies are starting to do so. It already made me hyped for Baldur’s Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 and now Shadowlands if it means getting it into better shape than what beta testers have seen.

It’s the same as taking vacation for ANY other hobby.

Do you laugh at people who take vacation to go fishing? Go to the beach? Go to a football game or concert?

This is bullchit

Disappointed to see. Yeah, this only proves what I have said to you before. You would rather have a steaming pile of crap than a good game. Lap up anything they would throw out and ask for seconds.

Amazing decision Blizzard, keep it up. Polish these classes and while you are at it…

I have a lot of reasons to complain about Blizzard. Them implementing a delay which will cost them profits during a global pandemic where virtually every facet of industry and commerce is failing/hurting is not one of them.

Remove Soul Binds, Remove Conduits, Remove covenant abilities. Replace Covenant abilities with buyable enchants for one armor slot, one for every tier of progression you get with rep, (Green, Blue, Purple).

Blizz can then spend their time balancing classes and legendaries, finishing The Maw, Torgast, etc, and we get a much better game

I don’t have this issue but do you know how arrogant you sound when you suggest people find new or better jobs during quite possibly the worst financial crisis in history?

I do feel for the people who put time in that can’t get it back…but I’ll be honest. I worked through the last 2 launches and I didn’t CARE one bit about it for BFA. I got to 120 on one toon in the first day or so and I was not overly thrilled with the launch. felt like something was missing overall. In fact I didn’t even care to log in everyday the first week or so because I felt like they had too much overtuning/undertuning and other holes to fix. It felt rushed. I wuda played every night after work IF it felt DONE.

Or find a better job that allows people to reschedule PTO? Prioritize your life not a video game.

I’m sure this was a hard decision, but we the community thank you for having the courage to do so. We trust you with the amazing games you talented people put together. Thank you for admitting you need more time to deliver a quality product that we all know it will be in the end.

Please fix enhance survivability / defensives, thanks

As long as it gets released by mid-December…

If it releases in January, after winter break, it will be a huge bummer.

I’m a little sad that it came to this, I was so beyond excited for the 26th, but I know this is what’s best for the game in the long run, so I will add my voice to the masses and say Good Job, Blizzard! Thank you for focusing on quality over deadlines. I hope everyone who got time off can work things out, I also had time off, but only the 27th, so for me it’s not the end of the world, but hopefully it works out for everyone else

Good. Shadowlands wasn’t ready we don’t want another BfA/Reforged fiasco. Release the game whenever is ready, I’d rather wait for a good product than play a broken unfinished game. Bravo Blizzard.

I laugh at people taking a vacation to just sit in their houses.

To John Hight: THANK YOU. This is the right move. As a customer of Blizzard’s, we want a polished product, not one that’s mandated to come out at a certain time by upper management. This is NOT what inspires us to purchase the product and remain subscribed; quite the opposite. Making the deadline is not what will keep WoW going; making a great product the first time very much is. Please share this with upper management at both Blizzard Entertainment and Activision Blizzard.
