So, are the heroes of this game homeless? Can you imagine being able to rent out a place in ANY major city in this game?
I love silvermoon city and it would be amazing to be able to have a home there. Create a new profession that involves crafting Housing items.
Maybe inns could also have an option to pay to stay in a room there as well.
I think things like this are way overdue in WoW.
Please don’t bring up garrisons.

We are soldiers who fight to protect Azeroth, but on an individual basis, hence the logic of logging out in an Inn, (as opposed to barracks), and why there’s an added rested exp benefit to doing so.
We don’t need housing. Housing requires ego, and good soldiers are selfless.

I already have a home. It’s in Azuremyst Isles, Azure Watch, i just sleep right next where the campfire is.

As for player housing, I think they may do something along those lines some time in the future as it’d be a great way to keep interest.
I just hope they don’t do another garrison style type of housing. While I like the garrisons, they weren’t really practical. For the game, anyway.

I always thought that would be cool too. I would like to have my own little room or house, where I could display treasures and items from my journeys.
Much rather just stay in an inn and flirt with the guys coming in and out. no housing.

I think player housing is kind of dumb. Go play a game where that’s the focus.
you’d need 2 professions. one for getting lumber, and one for building furniture.
need a name for those proffessions? woodcutting and carpentry.
could totally see blacksmiths getting the ability to create nails, and sell’em on the AH, so people with carpentry could build certain items…
all we’d need is to have player housing… a shame blizz refuses to give that to us. don’t blame’em though, i mean, the game is what, 16 years old now? not even sure the game could handle it.
heck, they could just rip-off the wildstar housing, with the portals to raids/dungeons from your house, with buffs you could get from buildings on your plot of land… could be sweet.
I always stay at a hotel, cuz you used to get “well rested” when you log back into the game. Does that still happen to my character cuz I never see that anymore in yellow chat?
Considering all the effort they went to between CRZ, pseudo-realm merging, and things like cutting portals everywhere but Org/SW and the current expansion hub I’m pretty sure they don’t want to add housing because they don’t want to instance people off from each other like they did in WoD with garrisons.
It’s not like we sleep, have dinner, sit on the couch or whatever.
I mean, who says the player will never leave the home? Not asking for every profession, an AH, a bank or w/e to be accessible in there. At that point, the home becomes the game.
Just a feature for the pleasure of the player that is optional.
But it would cost us a raid tier, like garrisons. xd
Or worse, they would make it a shop content.
As much as I like housing and designing homes like in the sims. I don’t feel it’s necessary to have that system in wow.
If they did it, I would make it super simple. Like a small room (that you don’t design) where you can go inside in multiple inns that got a couple trophies and maybe music and a wardrobe and a bed.
Im not homeless i carry my home with me. Thats the good thing about being a vulpera. Though being DK ive scared a few people when i wake up they thought in was just a rotting corps 
You can say this with just about anything you want. It’s good to get content that takes more than 5 minutes to make(allied races).
I have a house though. It’s called Acherus and I share it with my DK brothers and sisters.
