Doesn’t he wear full plate now? (at least in the BFA cinematic) Basically a paladin.
So… because you don’t like gnomes and mechagnomes, even though there are players that do, they should be removed from the Alliance?
Works for me! I’m perfectly happy with the Alliance consuming itself from the inside.
But Genn is the bestest boi!
Swat him with a rolled up newspaper and send him to his kennel instead. He just needs some light punishment to remind him to be good again.
Hey, I don’t think either of us want gnomes and mechagnomes joining the horde. That would bring about the end of the alliance.
#4 Contradicts this.
/steps on your toe ![]()
Getting kicked out of the Alliance does not automatically secure Horde membership.
Gnomes and mechagnomes would suddenly be easy pickings without the Alliance, and the Alliance without gnomes and mechagnomes would be weakened. Sounds like a win-win to me!
This actually funny.
I…Your right, omg. Oh no, Thrall next.
That Velen’s ship actually. Turalyn ship was destroyed on Argus
There also Dark iron moles and Void elves void portals.
What is ghost-buster. ;p
But if we remove them, they will go to Horde as food or parts. And in that will help the Horde.
Hold on one darn minute. Tyrande sure. But give Genn a chance. All he done was make a fist. Him and his people helping at Darkshore, Anduin gave his okay. lol
Yes he wears plate but he’s a special NPC. They don’t follow the rules. Like Tyrande. She’s a Priest that uses a bow.
I don’t think you thought that through.
PS, best of luck getting him to take orders from the Boy King.
Now we can Return to Return to Karazhan.
But… wouldn’t a priest in plate basically just be a paladin? And… wouldn’t it be close enough to the same thing that doesn’t warrant correcting someone? Particularly since NPC’s like that don’t really have classes because they do whatever the story wants?
Since a classes identity is primarily defined by what abilities they use, not what armor they wear, and also what Blizzard says they are, no.
He a priest that uses priest abilities, that happens to wear plate because as noted special npc’s ignore things at times like armor restrictions (or weapons in the case of Tyrande)
Perhaps I’ve missed it. Which abilities is he generally using that are not paladin abilities? Most of the time i see him, he’s standing doing nothing. In the referenced cinematic, he appears to be using melee attacks, including a melee active ability (crusader strike, perhaps?) of which priest have none of. So, by your own admission, he is absolutely not a priest.
This is also objectively untrue. A priest cannot wear plate. Classes are very much defined by the armor they can wear. Armor type starts playing a roll in the class before you have more than 1 button to push.
Additionally, thrall was a shaman. Then he become a warrior. So, if anduin was a priest, he could become a pally if cinematics feel like he is or a warrior also because why not? Because what Blizzard says something is can change in one expansion, or a side comic, or a novel, or in another expac, or a different video or a different interview or the little tab of paper that comes with a game, or literally any time. But please, try to keep arguing that the unplayable NPCs that do whatever Blizz wants at the time have fixed, permanent unchangeable classes based on the abilities they essentially never use because Blizz said so once while ignoring everything else about them or the fact that it doesn’t matter and wasn’t worth correcting which is my whole point.
By my ‘own admission’ is nothing of the sort, as has been said by multiple special npc’s ignore specific class restrictions because they are special NPC’s, Anduin’s is armor, Tyrande is a priest that uses a bow, which priests also can’t use.
Blizzard has matter of fact said he is a priest, as is Tyrande, so he is a priest plain and simple.
That aside, he never uses a weapon “ability” he simply uses a sword (which on its own is a unique special sword of his father), he does however cast spells, such as for example those used when fighting off Hozen and psychic scream, powerword shield, etc… https://youtu.be/Cd4x6nyX5RY?t=167, which paladins don’t have, because he isn’t one, by his abilities used, and Blizzard’s statement.
So no, please take your own advice and stop staying a priest that has used priest abilities on more occasions then just that one quest in the link above is a paladin only because the armor worn which is the least defining thing of a class, especially for a npc.
#5 Stop playing hard-to-get with Wrathion and just kiss him already. You know that you want to!
This is actually a meme
Kael’thas
Varian
Arthas
Derek
Daelin
All of them died and were related to Jaina in one way or another
There is literally an entire song about this.
He also uses Mind Control on the player and Pandaria expedition members, and casts Holy Smite during several campaign quests in Legion.
Dude is definitely a priest. The difference between a Priest and a Paladin is how they handle the Light. Priests channel it like an energy force, Paladins call upon it for Blessings and empowerments and typically have a more intense relationship with it than the Priesthood, with the power coming from the conviction of their beliefs which allow it to be used for wrongdoing like Arthas, or the Scarlett Crusade.
