Yea, it seems pretty simple. We just need their actual engineers to know this is going on. Most likely, this wonât be a big problem for them.
Thing is they might be overwhelmed with other more urgent problems to solve first. Big patch day and all.
Or they might have already noticed and fixed it, and itâll be patched in the upcoming maintenance one hour from now.

Looks like this is absolutely a Phenom issue because the chipset is no longer supported. A big bummer and a big hit in a year when people are strapped for cash. I was able to upgrade to an FX8000 series (the minimum specs) for relatively cheap without replacing my MB or Ram.

Same issue. Hope this will be fixed soon and Blizzard doesnât just ignore the âfewâ people who have this problem. In that case that would be the end of playing for me for who knows how long.
Having to look at all the eye less monstrosities and broken character textures just sucks all joy out of the game for me.
Same issue, AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor, really old, but with a Radeon 570.
The BAD new is that, if your AMD is a AM2+ Socket, you will not be able to upgrade only the CPU, since those are the high end processors for that generation of Motherboards. So, you will have to upgrade your Motherboard, your RAM and your CPU. Luckily you will not have to upgrade your graphicâs card as well. Lets hope for the best.

Yeah, been having the same texture issues as the other folks. I have an old machine, been fine with WoW until this pre-patch. Iâm hoping something will be done with the maintenance, but seeing the green text responses, Iâm about to give up, ask for a refund, since I canât afford to upgrade any time in the near future.
Weâre still in the first 24 hours, I donât recommend giving up just yet

I have an AMD Phenom Quad Core.
He has AMD FX 9590 8 Core.
Everything was working perfectly until the patch dropped, even with my older computer. Iâve been playing WoW for 15 years on different computers and I know when to upgrade. Itâs going to be very disappointing if I have to go buy a new system just because of this patch.
I have an AMD Athlon II X2 250 processor and GeForce GTX 960. The game runs perfectly for me except for this texture issue. Overwatch is running great. Please issue a fix that doesnât cost me money during a pandemic.
Building on an idea Nosaferatu mentioned, and since the staff is already tracking this thread: I was wondering if they could add a checkbox for âuse old texturesâ as a middle-ground compromise for unsupported hardware. The major concern is whether the new cosmetics have any âold texturesâ available or if they would need new assets to accomplish that.
The issue has nothing to do with âold texturesâ at allâŚ
I understand the issue. Iâm saying do they have old textures to display for those same graphics that are not showing up. Since old textures work fine and new ones donât.
Iâd probably be fine with that, as long as SL content stays on the table.
The weird thing is that the new mounts are already in the mount book and everything looks normal.
