You’re not alone. Only MMO I ever cared about housing was Wildstar.
I’d rather get a fun class or race, but I get that the game isn’t designed around what I want. Folks have been asking for housing for two decades.
If you don’t care about it? Fine, don’t engage in the system.
Personally, I don’t care for PvP, so I don’t engage in that (even in Plunderstorm I try to avoid combat as much as possible).
But just because you don’t personally see any value in it doesn’t mean other people don’t, and not everything in the game has to cater to you.
I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other, tbh. I’ll use it when it comes out but if they were to cut it I wouldn’t be heartbroken.
See that it doesn’t happen again lest you be flagged yourself.

yeah blizzard is so well known for keeping their word and not designing painful p2w systems. right? right?!
its also not a big deal to a lot of people. pointless and meaningless statement.
my personal feeling is that it isnt worth the development time. some very nice people have made some great points in this post, except they havent really addressed one very important thing. the people looking forward to housing dont really play that much compared to the people that no life mythic+. i just cant see someone messing with housing 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, but you better believe an extremely large amount of people will be doing that with mythic+ every season

Majority of players don’t play M+. You want more than just M+ players and furniture on the cash shop will bring money.
Also it is vastly easier to design housing than make encounters or balances for M+. M+ wasn’t in the game since the beginning either and yet the game thrived with no lifers.
People will no life their houses to role play. You better believe that.
Honestly, I find M+ a waste of developers time myself for the esport minded people only and I want more raids instead of M+ but we don’t get what we want.
