Am I the only one?

M+ isn’t paying the bills anymore.

Am I the only one,

who does not care about raiding and mythic +?

Leveling, Transmog collection, achievements is all I do in this game. I couldn´t care less about running the same dungeon day in and day out, just to get a higher score. That´s not what MMO´s are for me.

I am a collector, I like to discover new things and housing will be yet another addition to my fun.

Yeah. It’s sad. If the game becomes a joke like a full-blown kid’s game, I would be out.

Let’s see.

Yeah, raiders and dungeoneers would end up with the best furnitures/house becoz it would become Dungeon rewards. And the non-dungeon players would have the Worst House even if the Housing is designed for them.

Dungeoneers and raiders are quite busy doing the dungeons. Spending time to grind on Cosmetics especially on useless Furnitures, it wont happen. When the game goal becomes… Get your Best House instead of killing the Final Boss, I would be out of here.

Do you like it? Were you talking to me lol? I do love this outfit.

You’ve found your incentive to do that content. Others might not, and this would be another reason, like transmog, to both do it and do it over and over again.

I don’t think anyone is expecting housing to take the top spot. Rest assured: Your favorite content hamster wheel will still reign supreme. That doesn’t mean other things aren’t worth adding to the game.

M+ never was. Wow has been booming since the beginning and M+ was just created in legion. That is a long long time without M+ ever being in the game and some of the highest numbers was without M+ in the game.

Eh, it’s in the same vein as not caring about transmog, or something similar.

Sure, it doesn’t make or break the game if you don’t do it.

But, it’s still a “pillar” for a lot of people (when it does arrive) you’re ignoring, regardless.

Same in regards to Pet Battles, PvP, Raiding, M+, Roleplay, and so-forth.

Just because it isn’t your cup of tea, doesn’t mean it’s a waste of resources. (And I’m frankly tired of people saying it is, like we all do just one activity in WoW.)

I’ve been waiting 20 years for this, personally lol.

Always wanted my own digs in WoW.

Funny enough, housing in mmorpgs is older than wow. Wow is just slow to the take.

Agreed. This is a large game with a large audience. More things to do in the game is never a bad thing in my opinion.

I remember watching WoW alpha or beta footage, and they were experimenting with houses, even there lol.

Likely couldn’t get it to work (at the time) because it’s developed out of an RTS engine.

And, that was pre-2004 as well lol.

Tech has come a long way.

But, point is, even before WoW was released as a game, they were trying to make housing work as a feature before even PvP or raiding existed.

WoW today would probably be very different if we had housing all along.

Edit- Alpha Footage:

Yup, the only people complaining about housing are people who only dungeon dive. Others are either indifferent or enjoy it. People keep saying it is taking development time away from other aspects in the game when in reality, everything else kept pushing housing away from the game since alpha.

It’s about time for player housing.

People have wanted housing for an eternity.

I remember people looking at the big portal behind the gate in Stormwind thinking “That’s where the housing district is gonna be…any day now…”

Also, the fact that Blizz has promised that housing is going to be evergreen content… it’s not going to be forgotten and tossed like Garrisons.

It’s a big deal to a lot of people.

This is what actually got me to take notice. I want it to be persistent content and not just forgotten about by the next expansion.

People love to give WoW flack for being a themepark MMO but don’t consider that it may be the reason it’s still ahead in the MMO market.

Spreadsheet Andies when they see content added that doesn’t revolve around M+ :exploding_head::rage:

This post seems a bit selfish or just ignorant about this game.
What I love so much about this game is it offers so many different ways to play and to participate.
Player power is out there for those who want it. So Stillaverage, you already have what you seem to enjoy.
While Wow has offered so many of us who aren’t interested in what you are.
Isn’t that really cool?
A game for everyone, not just elitists.

Nope no ones allowed to have a different opinion in the toxic hivemind of the WoW playerbase.

They took everything else from every where, but lol, you are right, 20 years later they finally go “Hey, let’s finally give it to them.”

…you realize you are playing a panda, right?

True my mistake
