Am I the only one?

I’m almost same, but I need to do a cleanup every expansion. Most of my bank are usually those catch up gear tokens for alts, that I store just in case. I think in only have the default bank space filled with nostalgic items. But it’s usually no more than one two per expansion.

You’re probably using it right and getting the intended benefit from it.

As someone who’s bank is full of items no longer in the game, I always need more space.

I keep mine right next to my Heart of Azmerloth.

I don’t hoard stuff, I hoard meat for chili fries.

I wouldn’t be using it if you could actually sell the all the old legendaries. Or even delete them. All of my alts have at least 6 slots filled, think my main has 15.
Of course that only matters because I am the worst hoarder in existence. I generally keep anything that could result in a pet or toy but somehow never actually finish them. Depending on what becomes BoA I might be able to finish off a bunch of things. :speak_no_evil::see_no_evil::hear_no_evil:

And here I thought this thread was going to be full of Melissa Etheridge lyrics

I am a hoarder. I still have old tmog in my bags and just a bunch of other random stuff.

I actually don’t use my bank for much, it has a few things from older expansions and that’s it, I also have a personal guild but don’t use it either. If the warbands inventory is something I can access at any time, anywhere and in any character and without a cooldown than that is something I would REALLY use, but if it ends up not being like that I will probably just use as my main bank, since it will at least be shared.

That said I would love bigger bags or 1-2 more slots (actually, give me 10 lol). I don’t really hoard items, but I like to have everything with me, no need to go anywhere to grab X, Y or Z, and more spaces guarantee that I would hardly have too do it, not even clean the bags as often too.

I’m a vulpera, I am an enthusiastic hoarder.

I’m similar, though not to the same extreme. I choose to keep key expansion items or noteworthy drops (i.e. legendary items and the likes) on my main toons. If it can just go into void storage, it does. But if it cannot, and a lot of those types of items can’t, it goes in the bank.

My bags are far from empty, though.

Consumables alone eat up a handful of slots: 2 types of phials (I heal and DPS, and they use different types), 3 types of potions (mana, health, and throughput), runes (which eats up 2-3 slots since they only stack to 20), stat food, water, augment runes… that’s 9 slots gone right away on items I use repeatedly every day.

Then there’s gear- weapons and trinkets especially, since those are role/spec dependent. It’ll get sloppy here in the early days of gearing up (starting tomorrow), but even once that is all settled again, I’ll lose at least half a dozen or so slots to gear that I genuinely swap in and out of daily. Then PvP gear- I don’t arena every season, but when I do I inevitably end up with an entire set of PvP gear, which I just keep on me because banking it gets annoying.

Between all of that and the miscellaneous must-carries (hearthstone, M+ key, quest items, relevant in-bag currencies / zone items (i.e. seeds), etc.), 50ish slots of my 156 are gone. I’ve never once had to delete an item to make room for looting / trading. I don’t keep old, never-going-to-complete quests in my logs, I don’t sit on weird knickknacks on the premise that I might need it some day. Quite literally every item in my bags are used routinely, or are current to what I am farming / working on right now. And it still takes up that much space.

The gear component is less of an issue on toons where I don’t play multiple roles. But even on them, with a full kit out for raiding/M+ and farming the current content, they’re still using 30 to 35ish slots.

I don’t see you get much lower than that if you’re playing the game. If I ditched the current zone items, all other gear sets, and just went with strictly consumables for a single role, I’d still use 8 or so slots between the hearthstone, M+ keystone, phials, weapon runes, potions, and augment runes.

I could easily get by w/ only having 4 slot bags. I don’t keep a damn thing.

It’s so trivial, I almost don’t want to admit how very excited I am for the new campfire login screen. :joy: I already want to know how many characters it can show at a time and then how will I decide who is on it. My “Big Four” will be there permanently (that would be my two current raiders with my two retired raiders which I still always aim to keep raid-ready) but my current nest of alts totals 15, so I know some choices will have to be made.

It makes sense if you don’t actually play WoW past whatever it is you do, you won’t need more.

ok cool happy for ya
