Am I the only one?

You aren’t alone I am the same . Not only that I’m a tiny ocd about neatness of my bags and banks. Everything is categorized and lined up usually according to value (or perceived) to me.

Two exceptions I have my original character (the literal first character I ever made in this game almost 19 years ago) still and his bank (dwarf paladin btw) is a mess and is cluttered with junk that goes way back. Guess it’s part of nostalgia for me.

Also the current character I’m playing their bags may be not as orderly sometimes but usually once a week (if I’m playing) I’ll organize how I like them.

I’m also about to purge a good 25 of my characters this month. So that’s gonna be a cleaning mission unto itself.

I think it is time we get mobile void storage make our bags Void.

If you’re not hoarding items, are you even playing the game??

I clean out my bank pretty much every two weeks to remove the clutter. I also trash older gear around the start of a new season or the beginning of an expansion. I will also remove older quests (and associated quest items) that I haven’t been working upon for a while.

Same as OP, I only have 4 items in my bag if I’ve properly taken care of all the rest.

No. I don’t hoard either. But then, my gaming objectives are simple.

I have a couple hundred thousand. I don’t go looking for ways to make gold. I vendor stuff I don’t need and try to make all my own pots/flasks for m+. As long as I have enough to do repairs and buy the enchants I need I’m good.

Yeah,my crafting pale is that bad ,I’m trying to reduce it ,organize it ,and not throw it out ,but I’m distracted every time.

It’s because there is a lot of stuff this expansion…it seems with every expansion Blizzard adds more. Example would be professions, now there are levels of items you can get and those take up more bag space. All the currency stuff takes up bag space. Old stuff that I’d like to eventually do takes up bag space. Gear for 2-3 specs takes up bag space…I mean…there is a lot of stuff, lol.

I would say about 80% of it in the current expansion I’m not even sure what it does, got tired of all the “stuff” and now it just sits in my bags until I figure out what the heck it’s all supposed to be for.

I don’t want to farm that stuff again when I go to use it or realize I need it. So… :dracthyr_nod:

I wish they would give us an actual library or a lore tab. Some way to store that collected knowledge when we get books like that via questing or just discovery.

“Am I the only one?”

The second I read this I try to flip my desk and realize I’m not strong enough.

No, I clean my bags often. Though I don’t trash current content items, but I will once TWW hit live.

I’d need to look at my bags to see exactly what I have, but most of the mess is just random stuff I need for something so I hold onto it, but never actually use it, or items with fun effects (that really should be toys but aren’t).

Skyshards for example, I have 2 of them in my bags, and if I get 10 I can get a mount, so I held on to them, but never finished getting the other 8 so they just take up a bag slot. I also have the comb and horseshoes for Blanchy somewhere in there, but never got around to actually using them lol. I could probably throw this stuff in my bank to clean my bags out a little, but I usually don’t

I also have a Swapblaster I use to troll my friends with. Can’t be used in combat or M+ tho, so it’s pretty much useless aside from just messing with people. I keep the costume wands from holidays in my bank, and take them out occasionally, for the same reason.

I have a Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler in case I need the reagents for engineering.

And a Gnomish Army Knife for a res on my Hunter. And my Evoker has Netherwing eggs for the Netherwing dailies in Outland

That’s not everything I have, just a few examples, but the rest of my bag slots get taken by currencies that are actually items (like Barter Bricks) and crafting reagents, and all of that combined just leaves me with like 10-20 slots until I go through and clean my bags out

Durring the season my bags can get a bit bloated as need a tanking, healing, mdps and a rdps set cause none of the specs share stat priorities but I dump it all at the start of the new season.

I had so many items on my main and was too lazy to cleanup bags, so I swapped to a new main for 10.2
Characters boost ftw

Only things I tend to keep tend to be things that either remind me of a good memory, or is lore related like journals, letters and such. Such as I still got some mail from old friends I once played with long ago that I on occasion re-read as to remember the good times I had with them.

Or some items I keep as it was the last item perhaps I got from a storyline that I liked and that item I keep for memories sake. Example being Gidwin’s Medallion from the Eastern Plaguelands questline. or Geti’ikku, Cut of Death Mythic 14 +15 Corruption from when I tried Mythic+ for the first time with some friends, and I got the sword many in my guild were trying to get at the time.

Stuff like that. Otherwise, I tend to empty my space. So I tend to always have room for more memories so to speak.

I’m confident I still have items from Vanilla in my banks.

I’m a major hoarder and nostalgia fiend.

To each its own.

I wish I have 1 more void storage tab on my main character so that I could empty some of his bank bags filled with old trinkets and items that are no longer obtainable. It’s part of his history in the game.

I might have one entire bag section of teleport items.

My bags are constantly at a state of nearly full.

Every ring and trinket at max ilvl I keep for sure. Gear is more selective based on secondaries. I switch between my specs which all have different stat priorities.

Transport items a must. Probably a good dozen+ of those.

The current patch is usually like “here is another dozen+ items you need to carry on you”

From what it looked liked is they are adding an additional bank slot that is merge not replacing the old one. The picture shows 2 tabs “Bank” and “Warband Bank” So it won’t merge like you think.
