Am I missing something?

Trying to get into WoW pvp as a fresh 120 is obscenely difficult. Every battleground you enter you feel like a complete weight to your team, as you can’t do anything against other players. If you run into someone in mythic gear on the other team it’s like fighting 3 people at once.

You go through dozens of battlegrounds without getting anything but honour and potions out of your strongbox.

Am I missing something? Am I supposed to not feel any progression at all while pvping in WoW? If I do a dozen dungeons I would skyrocket in item level and yet a dozen battlegrounds gives me nothing.

Any help would be appreciated. I don’t want to give up but man, it’s looking really slim that I’ll keep doing this…

They expect you to gear-up in pve content now. Pvp equips are pretty much trash until you are farming some conquest successfully, and even then…

Get basic gear from PvE then start playing rated. Random bg’s aren’t an efficient way to gear and rarely have been.

No, you should play rated PvP for rewards and casual PvP for fun.

This is pretty much correct the only { pvp gear} I have found worth using is the trinkets

You can hit ilvl400+ by doing World Quests and Invasions with Warmode on.
PVP will happen.
You have one ilvl405 piece, there is your incentive.

If you really care about quick stats, look into using some enchants. +600, +37, +37 ideal secondary is nice.

Further Progression will be obtained through more competitive content, Rated.
