Altruism is an Australian-based socially competitive guild on Frostmourne (Alliance). We are currently recruiting for all forms of content for Shadowlands.
Raiding
We achieved our 9.0 goal of AOTC within 3 months of the Castle Nathria release, and intend to progress into Mythic raid in 9.1. We are a focused, supportive and fun raid group, who are willing to help others improve.
We are currently looking for ranged DPS, particularly a Warlock and Priest. However, all enthusiastic players are encouraged to apply.
Raid times are Monday and Wednesday nights, from 6.45pm to 10pm server time.
Mythic+
Altruism has an inclusive M+ environment, with almost all active members achieving KSM in 9.0. We have teams timing +18s, with the goal of pushing over +20s in 9.1. Keys are run almost every night, and we also have regularly scheduled events to help those less experienced players who want to get into Mythic+ .
All roles are welcome to join our M+ community.
PVP
Altruism as a guild isn’t overly experienced when it comes to PVP but it is something we plan on improving. We have some great players that wish to build a team and grow and learn together. Currently we are looking for all roles. Ideally, we will have a scheduled night of RBGs and depending on interest, another night to practice CC rotations, flag carry situations, positioning…or even take turns smacking around the PvP Officer.
PvP night is Thursday night from 8pm to 10pm.
Social
In addition to our awesome Raid, M+ and PvP communities, what makes Altruism unique are our social events. We host a weekly Friday Fun Night where we hang out in Discord with some music (and maybe a drink or two) and enjoy a more chill night of fun. Activities include old raids for transmog or achievements, transmog competitions (with prizes!), or even playing other games outside of WoW.
There are also week-long competitions to look forward to, such as fishing competitions or a selfie world tour, with prizes from the Blizzard In-Game Shop.
So even if you’re not into slaying dragons or Horde, Altruism is a good fit for anyone looking to make friends and have a laugh.
