Would been cool to have the NPC-crazed version for a bit at least…maybe before the other PvP kicks in.
Sigh, oh well. Not a deal-breaker for me, but still disappointed.

I mean, I thought it was pretty obvious what my main complaint was based on what I wrote in that post, and while I’d love to clarify further on the issue, the tone of your post makes me believe you don’t actually want my answer but just want to argue and insult, so spending any more time talking to you would be a waste of time.
What this ultimately seems to come down to is, how much laziness the devs can get away with without a big community outcry. Every time they just put their ideas out there, the community either supports it fully or like this time around, the vast majority of people would prefer the harder, 1.8 version than the nerfed 1.12 version.
Somebody should tell Milly Osworth to stop worrying about her vineyard. We’ve got enough w(h)ine for all of Northshire and the surrounding lands.
So what do you do when you lack the data? Why can’t they call in the people who worked on those things during that time? Just a genuine question.
I believe this during 1.12
Yeah, I don’t want AV’s to last 3 minutes 40 seconds, no thanks. Get the data, figure it out, youre grown ups
Your assuming they could call people who would remember the old code. That I doubt. Sure they could try to recreate it. I am sure we would be ok with something that is close enough. Personally I would rather have the original version of AV but this is minor to me. This is easier for them to manage and this has been the expectation all along.
It’s not about remembering lines of code, it’s getting their insight on the matter and how would they go about recreating those things
Let’s just call a spade a spade, it is fundamental ignorance.
Nope based on the date that would be 2.0.6
Oh so now it does not matter exactly just the overall feel. OK then. As stupid as that sounds I do agree with you. Even though there would be no point because just as many people would complain.
“We can’t do it because we don’t have the data” is what high school kids use as an excuse when they’re too lazy to do something
That video you are replying to is from 2.0.6 based on the date stamp on the youtube video.
Because for many people it was a HUGE part of endgame. They went with the laziest, most demonstrable ignorance option. It is on a level with “you think you do, but you don’t”.
Oh ok then just make some stuff up then and hope everyone is ok with it as long as it “feels” correct. Just throwing things in a game is exactly what high school kids do.
That’s just he upload date. Could have been anytime before that. But most likely between 1.12 and 2.0.1.
You do throw “something” together, you build it then test it
I am guessing they put that up as of the date they did it or shortly thereafter. But you would be correct that it could be anytime leading up to that date. The problem is the only thing we know is the upload date which certainly seems to suggest not 1.12.
Mate, the uploader of that video wasn’t the original creator. He says it himself. Many old videos are reuploaded from warcraftmovies and other old sites.
