Not when you never actually believed those reasons to be true. Based on your own words. I dont believe you actually think classic wow has to be this pure holy grail version. I think you ran out of things to troll and fell back on this. Because you know its the low hanging fruit of the troll game to argue it.

Any of it to be completely honest. I think you actually dont really care 1 way or the other. You just found a topic that people are passionate about and knew it would be easy to chum the water. Its the lowest form of trolling.

Thatās not true. I stand by everything I said. Iām just as stubborn in my refusal to budge as you guys are. If anything, Iām just annoyed by the fact this keeps coming up at all.
Heyā¦ please at least consider bringing in pre nerf as a weekend event or something, or a separate battleground. I want to play it so bad, itās what I remember best about classic wow. Iāll be extremely sad not to experience it at least one more time :[

I have trouble believing someone would rather a part of the game they dont plan to interact with and would even prefer to play the version everyone wants. Would legitimately have a problem with it existing for the sole reason that you would know it existed and that you have such a hate for private servers that you cant see past it for your own benefit.

Iāll still play it even if it has 1.5 AV (assuming they have the data for it), and Iāll even give 1.5 AV a try out of curiosityā¦ but Iām a perfectionist. I donāt think 1.5 AV fits within the 1.12 framework that Classic has. At all.
Why doesnt it in your opinion? Are you talking firmly from a historical perspective because thats not how it was or from some gameplay perspective that it clashes with?
Mostly from a purely historical perspective. Plus a concern that it might not play well with the 1.12 talents, spells, etc. that players have without Blizzard going in and tampering with the data.
Which, I do not trust them when it comes to data tampering like that. I want the data as clean as possible. No fiddling, no retuning.
I dont trust them either even though the classic crew seems to be better than the people that do retail. I feel that from an historical perspective it makes more sense to have the older version as a way to preserve it at the very least in a weekend event or something. From a gameplay perspective the fact that people are better at the game and know the ins and outs as well as they do will have a bigger effect than would 1.12 talents.
That does make sense. And thatās why ultimately a 1.5 AV wouldnāt really keep me from playing. lol.
Iām just wary of the slippery slope since WoD. I care about Classic and donāt want it to fall victim to that.
