Theres also the possibility of them matching premade vs premade. Similar to how they handle groups in overwatch
No AV numbers means no AV list. Premades may try to count down queue, but that won’t be as reliable. Any addons that either show or assign numbers to AV games will be broken by Blizzard.
It will be very easy for Blizzard to detect if a workaround has been found. The same groups ending up in the same games over and over will be a dead giveaway. Because numbers have been removed, there is no longer any plausible deniability regarding whether or not they are engaging in queue exploitation. The ban hammer is swung and Rank 14 dreams are forever dashed for these cheaters.
They should also make it where both sides always start with less than a 3 player difference.

Wow. Whorde biased much? For a community manager instead of taking a balanced non biased view you took the high ground and gave the whorde what they wanted.
I dont see you stepping in, in phase2 where whorde was repeatedly camping alliance?
Why make the decision to turn the scales to one particular faction now?

If the premades stopped dropping queue’s then this might never have happened. It’s one thing to anger the horde but then to screw over your own faction too is something else.

I think most players, as much as they don’t want to admit on either side, want an easy and fast way to rank efficiently for their shiny loot. This is why the serious rankers on alliance organized and took advantage of their instant queues to rank efficiently. If you ask anybody if they’d rather fight a WSG or AV pre-made over a pug right now they’d opt for the pug since the chances of winning will be higher and will maximize their HPH. Not like horde can pre-made AV effectively but you should see my point. Since I’m not interested in ranking past 10 I’d rather have a competitive game in WSG and AV instead of steamrolling Pugs literally all day.

It really just shows that nothing changed- Blizz was Horde biased in Vanilla, they’re still overwhelmingly Horde biased now.
They didn’t change our boats, make Wetlands unflagged for Alliance to match what Horde has with zeps and switching continents- but they caved to Horde immediately on AV.
There’s really no way after this many changes Horde begged for for anyone to say Blizz isn’t biased.
This was alliance complaining about AVs starting with 4 people.
Horde complaints about Premades crushing them are NOT why these changes are happening.

The horde complaints about alliance being able to premade were very much a factor. And were far more prevalent than alliance complaints.

I was always in 25 Alliance vs 40 Horde players AV Games and i stopped playing because of this. After reading this post by Blizzard, i will come back to WOW Classic an pay for new subscriptions… Thumbs Up, thank you very much.
