I moved past this year ago. I asked myself some important questions:

  • What are the 3 classes I like the most?
  • What is the role/function I like the most?
  • Do I really have time for 26 characters?
  • Can I still do everything I need to do with 3 Alliance and 1 Horde? (or vice versa if you prefer Horde)

So I only focus on my (Alliance) Worgen Guard/Feral Druid, Earthen Prot Pally, and Mechagnome Arcane Mage as well as my (Horde) Blood Elf Prot Pally. I might dink with other classes, but only if there is nothing else to do.

Sure I agree that they have helped you to progress but they have also become quite the gold sink. Wanting me to use my matts for 60 or 80g in return makes me feel like an idiot. Would never do that for a real order but please let me use 6 to 10 of my own Sanctified Alloy for no real return. Especially when at skill cap.

No, I feel like I have just the right amount of alts at the moment.
