I was on my 99th Wintergrasp win hoping to finish the meta.
The last couple nights I’ve solo q’d alliance. I kept alternating into the two horde pre made communities… I eventually gave up went merc and won the first match.
My undead doppelgänger has a 100% win rate.
I wish they were just bad. But it’s majority like in fresh blues or greens and zero concept of BGs, don’t talk. It feels like you are playing with young children. Giving up horde, 90% of games don’t even start with a full team anymore it’s wild.
This morning before reset I tried to get the “Something Different” quest completed on my Horde Rogue. Before the round started I said “Let’s control the pots and let them come to us” and some genius snapped back with “Wrong BG noob, you run the food in this one”
Later, when it was 20-3 (losing), I suggested that we kill the healer and the DPS that were farming the pots and got a “If you had ran more food and worried less about the DPS then we would be winning”
My only regret is that I didn’t purchase the faction change when it was on sale.
Just merc mode = profit. The grass is never greener on the other side, take it from someone whos played horde and alliance since 2005.
Sometimes controlling the pots wins. Sometimes concentrating on running wins. Sometimes harassing their runners in the fields wins. Just depends on what the teams are like.
I like it when some of the enemy are camping our pot on my rogue, gives me some easy shadowstep caps approaching from the sides.
That said, if your team is outmatched you are going to lose no matter what you do. Here the teams were evenly matched with good healers on both sides, so running was the way to go.

To everyone saying for me to "merc,’ you can’t merc as Horde so far this xpac, because of the ratio of ally to horde in the queue.
I already rolled an alliance toon, just gonna have to finish leveling them now. =)
I believe it. All I did last night was queue CI and I won every match. Even got a 30-0 in one.

how active is the ally pvp scene in moonguard? Mine seems pretty dead and i wouldnt mind a high pop realm to play on sometimes
I don’t know about Moonguard but if Sargeras (very high pop alli realm) is any interest to you then Bloodbound is always welcoming people. We’ve long been the #1 PvP guild on the server and among the top RBG guilds in NA. There are some other PvP and/or WPvP guilds too but not as large or active. Could make a level 1 toon on Sargeras and check out trade chat to see if it is active enough for you.
