New Patch Notes:
Quest credit for “Alpaca It Up” and “Alpaca It In” can now be earned while in raid groups.
As expected, a solution was reached…
Yea apparently it works now, but people lost days towards it. Like today was my 8th day but when running the script it says 2/7. If anyone else wants to check yourself just use /script print(GetQuestObjectiveInfo(58881, 0, false))

I love the logic here - The development team chose to reward those who exploited the bug during the first day of the patch by letting them keep their mount. Those of us who actually completed the quest 7 or 8 times now have to complete it 5 or 6 more times. It perfectly fits the “8.3 experience”.

Did it for like 6 days now and i only got credit for today’s quest…1 of 7.
**This has been hotfixed today and now does work in a raid. **
Use this script to check your turn in progress.

So, does this mean if we’ve been feeding it for the last 6-8 days in a raid and it was hot fixed today and works in raid, did we lose that 6-8 day credit prior to feeding the Alpaca while in a raid even though we’ve “completed” it each and everyday with a “Alpaca it in complete” acknowledgement in the chat window everyday when fed?
Also, not sure how that script works btw…

I mean, it is real simple. Just don’t try and complete non-raid quests in a raid. Dunno why you’d need a raid to feed an alpaca anyways.

It was included in the hotfix notes today.
Using the script I get 0/7 even though I feed it 5 times…
