Is 5 masking at cloak 14 supposed to be an accomplishment? That is adorable. Also, 5 masking as Unholy? That’s about as “difficult” as 5 masking with a 14 cloak 
. Again, show me something that you did that was ever challenging in this game. I’ll wait. You can’t even do every dungeon at 10+, can’t get past 1550 in Arenas and barely got the few AotC achievements you’ve gotten, let alone do any Mythic raiding.

The part of the game that matters is the part people are willing to pay them for.
You were also complaining about people rightly pointing out that they should have reset the currency to put everyone on equal footing instead of giving a huge advantage to anyone who decided not to get all of their essences on their mains/alts and hoarded the currency. You know, something that actually affects the balance in all meaningful content like Arenas, raiding and M+.

I have 14…15 max level characters and I’ve just returned to a semi consistent basis after burring myself in classic since december. Which means I leveled them all prior to the buff… I have no issues conceiving that someone could have 24 max level characters and play them all semi consistently. Specially since the shut down.

Complaining, meh I don’t think complaining really applies. It is a little ridiculous to complain people lack the intelligence to realize the implications of what they are suggesting and that is what I would have had to be doing to be ‘complaining’.
I definitely was trying to point out to you a solution that causes other players to lose when it is needless isn’t a good solution.

RNG’s only purpose is to make some bad players get lucky and keep playing a game for it.
(Unless the game’s whole purpose is RNG… Like Yahtzee.)

Complaining absolutely applies to what you did. You claim it is unintelligent when there are plenty of reasons to actually do what I, and many others, have suggested. There was no need to add another currency when they could use an existing currency that was never meant to be hoarded in the first place, something that you lack the cognitive ability to even begin to understand. The currency was made to be spent the minute you got enough of it to buy essences. It was a catchup mechanism. Period.
Poorly made decisions? The only poorly made decision during this rollout was not resetting the currency completely. Adding a new currency would have been an unnecessary time and resource sink at a time when both of those are in short supply. Maybe you shouldn’t hoard the currency that was meant to be spent as soon as you reached the threshold to purchase something with it.

If you were at all intelligent, and literate, you’d see that I’ve been quite critical of Blizzard throughout my tenure in this game. I’ve even been critical of their actions with this particular decision they’ve made.
You don’t know this guy’s situation or that he’s a multi-boxer. He may be one, who knows. He may also work from home, be a “stay at home” parent, be independently wealthy, be on disability, a college student with a lot of time, super time efficient, almost anything. Maybe he runs 2 or 3 alts a day for just the emissary and do the assaults across all 24 thru the week. You have no clue what is situation is.
He said he has about 1k Echos on each character, which really isn’t a lot over the course of 2 months time (it’s 20 days of Emissaries only for each character, or far less that that number of days if he’s doing assaults on some or most).
You know what they say about “assuming” things, don’t you?
