If you want to allow premades, make them queue into each other as opposed to random dogwater pugs.

“Killed BGs” gonna need a source for that. Queues were 10 minutes at most then. “Just make a premade yourself”, missing the point of premades queueing into other premades and being on a fair playing field as opposed to having 15 people in a discord, coordinated and just stomping the other team because they’re a pug. WOW! You beat the people who barely talk other than to call incoming! You must be really good at the game! What’s wrong little bro? Scared you might actually have to try instead of falling asleep at the keyboard and winning in 5 minutes. Yeah, I bet you are.

He’s also forgetting player base dropping significantly during p2 and p3 because of bad pug scene for Gnomer, Incursions, and ST lasting months. Even then, never had problems getting into BGs. But, yeah sure, lack of premades DEFINITELY killed BGs.

The source is the devs restricting premades going into p2 and it killing BG participation until they removed it going into p4 because of said lack of BG participation??

Relax. Most will have their weaps and go back to PVE. Besides, if you keep respawning that’s your own fault during their steam rolls. Go make a coffee.

I /lol at every single priest healer that lips, and I spam it if they lip+disperse at the same time.
Most of these players just suck so hard but are carried by blizzard’s abysmal tuning. Like, literally every single shaman.

Dude, I literally died to a hunter that was backpeddling today, because I spent the only 3 globals I was in range of him, pressing hamstring, and he dodged/parried all 3, then he backpeddled away and killed me during back to back entrapment procs.
There’s plenty of actually braindead ways for these specs to win fights.
I lost a 1v1 to a half hp rogue today, in the water next to ST, because he popped evasion and pressed backstab into my face and just crit everything while I can only hit him with overpower every 5 seconds.
The tuning is bad. There’s entirely too much low effort no skill garbage that allows someone who is clicking their abilities to just auto-win as long as they press their win button.
If warriors could shield wall every 1 minute without weapon swapping the forums would melt down instantly. But it’s fine as long as it’s shamans I guess?
ya honestly theres alot of people in alot of classes (would say almost all of them in fact) that are coasting on the easy design and damage profiles of classes .
like its not just one class that everyone props up as unbeatable machines.
all those classes i mentioned are very strong in their own right with hunter being at least top 3 for ALL OF SOD…
but whatever.
SoD pvp is bad because the tuning across the board is broken.
It’s super obvious on warrior because besides meathook and warbringer I am playing vanilla warrior. I didn’t get a shiny new rune that buffs or causes 60% of my damage.
There’s a reason most of the diehard vanilla andy’s gave up on sod months ago. Perplexity quit streaming sod to play rbgs on retail, and then quit that and didn’t stream at all for a month and only came back because of fresh. SoD is so bad that one of the best vanilla->wrath rogues, just reached a point that he had to accept that anyone with a braincell on the right spec just auto wins… and he plays rogue, one of the good classes.
I’ve played hunter for a long time. So glad I skip playing one in SOD. Even with all their nerfs they are still top tier.
I would never follow a streamer as far as gauging what is good base on what they play. They have to switch versions to stay relevant and keep them views counts high.
Im not saying SOD pvp is great… but neither are the other versions. I would rank SOD pvp above fresh, retail and cata.
SoD, Cata, Fresh, Retail (probably in that order). lol

Perplexity literally only plays vanilla. He played all of SoD until P5. I value his opinion because he’s knowledgeable and not just playing what gets him views.
SoD is 100% the worst version of warrior. By far. There’s no redeeming quality. And the PvP in general is so unbelievably poorly balanced the only people who must be having fun are rogue/sham/pala/hunter/boomie, granted thats a good portion of the class options, but the highs are too high and the lows are way too low
Im not playing Warrior so I cant really say or debate with you on that. But, I will say watching Kefka play warrior. He makes it look hella fun.
