I don’t defend their poor decisions…as many on these boards can tell you. I do however support them enforcing you earning an unlock the same deal with Pathfinder.
I do! It’s required at my job for some of our programs. I also own an Acer, and a CLX at home. What else you got?

When I click the banners, it shows that I need to be level 10. brb gonna try with a void elf I already had unlocked, see if I can unlock the others with it, as it starts as a level 10.

They are something you work for much like a mount locked behind a quest chain or reputation. The rep grinding stuff was taken out. It’s mostly just doing a zone achievement for many of them.

Ok I’m testing with alliance races, but here comes. You need to be 45 for void elf and lightforged draenei. You need to be 50 for dark iron, mecha and KT humans. The achievement requirement is cross faction.

They probably should just auto unlock races once they reach 2 expansions ago (so legion, currently)
I never liked the idea of locking the races in the first place. I found tbc/mop much better myself.
The RP bits are kinda wonky, too. Dark irons were allied to us since cata I believe? And I’m not sure how bfa zones tied to them exactly? They were present in the lower part of zuldazar but I don’t know how doing things in the swamp or desert improved my standing with them.
I don’t think void elves were much better in that respect, but I honestly know very little about them.
I think the actual quest chains to unlock the races were sufficient. The rep grind was unnecessary. I’d rather jump into helping a race and unlocking the race than having to do a month long chest opening spree first.

Aye that is completely evidant for a bit now.
I’m personally just curious on if allied races unlock as they say on the page at 45-50 to do the quest, or if they may be able to be unlocked at 10 per Abendroth seeing on the banners in game
