I HAVE met the requirement for mechanome, it shows green on the banner, yet the quest giver will not give me the quest.
Does not affect Vulpera.

We’re seeing reports of folks not seeing allied races that should otherwise be available to them, so that might be related to what we’re looking into.

I legit didnt plan to do anything significant tonight due to the always present issues BUT this so i was most disappointed, lol 
Yep, I’m in the same boat. I have a level 10 playable Vulpera but can’t create a new one (or any other unlocked allied race).
Same problem with mechagnomes here. Green on the banner but the quest giver on the embassy wont give out the quest.

They just showed up for me after re-logging in. My daughter has the same issue on her account and has logged in a few times with no luck of having unlocked allied races available.
Same. I completed “The Mechagonian Threat” 2 months ago with revered reputation. I cannot get the quest to unlock the race while at the stormwind embassy.

Same, I have all the questlines for every alliance allied race except Mechagnome which should be the “Urgent Care” quest and it says in the game that i completed the requirement “The Mechagon Threat” but that quest is not at the SW Embassy
pre patch has proven to be quite a flop. some servers dont even show the allied races at all. total ouch on this pre patch.
Meh, there are always glitches under load, i expected it which is why i planned to do nothing of consequence… bit of a bummer, but to be expected.
I was having the same issue as OP, no quest waiting for me at SW Embassy with achievement completed. I decided to head to Mechagon as I was hoping there would be something for me there.
Upon entering Boralus Harbor, I received dialogue from Kelsey Steelspark as I went to the fountain in the center near the inn. She had the quest for me which then continued the unlock questline.
Try doing that, worked for me!

Update: The quest “Urgent Care” was at the SW embassy but when i got to the quest “Someone Who Can Help” in the mechagnome quest line it allowed to to grab the helicopter but it would not let me send the escape pod to Mechagon, i assume it’s still bugged?

Are you all aware that the mechagnome recruitment quest is broken at the find someone to help quest?
So I thought this was an issue as I had all requirements. HOWEVER the toon I unlocked it under was new level 49. As soon as I hit level 50 the recruitment quests showed up.
Have you filed a bug report?
I myself have filed bug reports about this quest line and have a current open ticket on it. the quest line is good up until the quest “someone who can help”

GMs are not going to be able to help you with it. They don’t fix bugs and they don’t take bug reports.
That’s all you need to do. You won’t get a reply about it being worked on or fixed.
Checked this morning before worked, still no quest…
Checked both servers i have alliance on, neither has anything.
The Vulpera quest is available on both horde servers of course… lol
Hi guys. I did all the requirements for mechagnome on horde and wasnt getting the quest either. I found by checking a few posts that i had to get my max level alliance character (who hadnt even been to mechagon) to complete a few introductory quests with the Prince on Mechagon (takes about 15 mins) and then he popped up with the Urgent Care quest that i need to start the unlock chain.
