Allied races and Subraces you'd like to see

Hey all, this thread was necro’d. I have tons of old, reverted opinions in this thread and a few misconceptions I’ve since seen I was incorrect about also here. Disregard anything you see me saying here, basically none of it holds up today, minus a few things. Looking at 90% of the things I posted here today, I make the same face I make whenever I think about 90% of the things I did in middle school

That aren’t confirmed.
Title says it all. What are some races in Azeroth you’d like to see as subrace customization and/or allied races? I’ll make my own list real quick to give some examples. These aren’t listed in order of how much I want them.

For the Alliance:

  1. Jinyu/Ankoan
  2. Broken/Krokul
  3. Frostborn Dwarves

For the Horde:

  1. Taunka and Yaungol
  2. Ogres
    Maybe Mok’nathal if they come with ogres
  3. Gilgoblins

I’ll be editing in suggestions I see that I agree with.

If Alliance gets Mok’nathal that’d be hilarious and it’d also turn me into an erupting volcano of anger.

I want the legion artifact ability for survival back. I was living out my Rexxar fantasy so much

I would really love to see Gilgoblins. In my opinion we should have gotten an extra wave of allied races.

Vulpera/Sethrak, Mechagnomes/gilgoblins. A big opportunity was missed in having Gilgoblins partner up with the Vulpera to be the horde’s specialist survival team.

I also would love to see Gnome Vampires for the alliance even though they aren’t really cannon.

I’d like to see something that’s based off of the worgen and forsaken models to complete the allied race set.

For the Alliance:
Don’t care I only play gnome, when I play alliance.

For the Horde:

  1. Gilgoblin, specifically the cute commune led by Neri
  2. Ogre and/or Mok’nathal
  3. Naga, specifically Azshara loyalists. Heck, make them an neutral race and give the naga who want to be Light slaves to the Alliance. They love sucking up to the Light. Plus the Horde needs at least one leader whose personality can’t be compared to a piece of cardboard with honor scribbled on it.

Yeah. I’ve yet to see anyone mention Frostborn yet. They’re awesome imo. I’d play one and that’s from a strong Horde player who rarely plays Alliance.

They seem totally forgotten which is a real shame.

Wildhammer aren’t confirmed. Bronzebeard Dwarves are getting tattoos.

I don’t see no storm hammer or gryphons based racials.

But those tattoos are meant to be for Wildhammer. I totally think they deserve their own racials and racial slot, but they’re basically confirmed.

Blah blah blah honor, blah blah blah I like war but hate winning.
We’re led by a bunch of “pink skins” at this point. Just switch spirits with Light and spikes for statues and we’re the same at this point.
Blizz is even trying to shoehorn in Gazlowe for my race now. What kind of goblin is eager to give away gold?! He’s just an attractive gnome.

High Elves - They clearly would mean the world
Vyrkul - No one asked for obese kultirans

Horde:
Undead Elves - For the Sylvanus weebs and edgelords
Void Kul Tirans - Cause it’s your turn.

I’d rather the bigboi forest trolls.

They’d have to be scaled down in size. Whilst genetically they’re like humans, culturally I’d say they’re more akin to orcs. I’d like a neutral vrykul tbh. But Alliance dearly lacks cool races, and Vrykul would fit a cool race slot.
