So I’ve been grinding Nightfallen rep to unlock the Nightborne allied race. I finally hit exalted, I have the Insurrection achievment. However when I went to create a Nightborne character its still locked. I’ve tried restarting the game, relogging, giving it time but its still locked.
Is this something that is common? Or am I missing something here?
You still need to complete the quest chains to recruit the perspective races, which can be found in Orgrimmar, at the Embassy. There should even be an Exclamation point on the main map showing the quest.

What is the name-realm of the character you’re using and what race are you trying to unlock?
We’d need a little more to go on, Killerhurtz. Such as which character you are using, what Allied Race you are referring to, etc…
From what I can see the character you are currently on in-game started the Highmountain Tauren questline. You don’t appear to have completed it though and are missing “Together We Are the Horde!” from what I can see.
You won’t be able to start another allied questline until you complete the current one.
Also, there is a level requirement for the questlines. The quest to open up a Legion Allied Race, once you met the requirements, is 45. The questline for a Battle for Azeroth Allied Race is 50.
