Weā€™re not even sure itā€™s official.

Wellā€¦

Iā€™m not sure what to expect now. Allied Race DKs, baby tentacle draculas, foxesā€¦

Kinda glad I have my character stuck at lv 100.

The Talon King will guide us.

Indeed he will, my friend. :bird:

Indeed, he will.

Then good for you. The rest of us are still waiting patiently for Arakkoa.

I feel we may be waiting for an even longer time.

Normally, no news is good news, but not in this scenario.

I hope notā€¦

Just wanted to poke this thread as a reminder that thereā€™s quite a few people (including me) that would love playable Arakkoa, and the ideas being shared should be considered by any potential devs that might be passing through.

Indeed. Thanks for the reminder.

And yeah, while they should be considered, that doesnā€™t mean they will or that they should be added to the game.

We still have to wait and see.

I figured you didnā€™t need one, I just like poking threads I enjoy sometimes with great ideas :stuck_out_tongue: Good luck and hopefully they make it in sometime in the near future!

WoD had a bunch of great races that I want - Arakkoa, Saberon, Botani, Podlings etc.

Indeed, although we did get a Podlings reskin with the Shroomlings/Fungariansā€¦ Orā€¦

However you wish to call themā€¦

Although Saberon and Botani both escaped into Azeroth so you may very well see them.

Thanks, Iā€™m hoping so, too.

Good luck with the Sanā€™layn.

Hey, Fang here. Just to let everyone know, my net is restricted to 50 GB a month and because of this I cannot download updates to WoW, so Iā€™m letting my sub run out in the next 10 minutesā€¦

Good bye for now, and I hope we get Arakkoa playable in the future! :bird:

It would be so nice to have these races in Azeroth!
I would love to have an Arakkoa and a Saberon!:tiger::bird:

So, I havenā€™t watched Blizzcon, but I havenā€™t seen anything related to arakkoa yet. Guess its not happening this time?

I think as they are just talking about shadowlands, everything else is out of priority!

Blizzard must sell SHD as revolutionary at all points!

Iā€™ve always wanted to play as an arakkoa. They are one of my favorite races in anything, not just in wow. Perhaps they could be instrumental in us getting to and from the shadowlands - as they travel through shadow realms with their dusts and elixirs, and peer into the otherworldly through their mystical orbs, and slice the veil between realms with dark knives. The clever, kooky, wise, and whimsical birdfolk, with their shadowy arts yet big warm hearts (our friendly arakkoa are rather hospitable and spirited), with their fascination with the otherworldly, and peering into swirly crystal balls and a delight in collecting baubles and trinkets and knickknacks, would be needed and welcomed sages in our travels through the unknowable.

Iā€™m horde and have always definitely loved the hunched and big hearted arakkoa. Being cursed and crooked has never slowed their step! Theyā€™re not frail, but what might some might see as an impairment, has purposefully or not, strengthened them. Instead of skulking in nothingness or becoming withdrawn or withering, they rise to their challenge (an admirable accomplishment), and in doing so become better than what their plight may dictate; focusing their attentiveness and affection for their seeking of knowledge, sharpening their sorcery and skill of shadow magic and mastery of the occult, and are able to empathize and sympathize with those who must embrace a humbled nature to survive - giving the arakkoa a unique perspective and adopting an appreciation through tragic experiences that those who have never suffered lack - making them even more insightful, the kind and accommodating sages they are.

Since back in bc, again in wod, and everywhere in between and since, theyā€™ve always held a special place in my heart - the way trinkets and curious knickknacks hold a place in theirs. With wild gods resting in Ardenweald, and the possibility of Anzu and or other primal and wild gods, and more importantly with the excitable insights and interests of our feathered friends, we could experience and explore new and meaningful arakkoa stories. In an expansion called shadowlands, our crooked and eager feathered friends wouldnā€™t, and blizzard shouldnā€™t, miss this opportunity to explore, study, scroll, collect and traverse this mystifying realm of shadows.

Thanks!

Are there any possibilities? Yes, they exist!
Blizzard just needs to take advantage of the obvious appeal a race like Arakkoas would have if added to the game!

Arakkoas, would do more for the diversity of the game than the current races seen in BfA!
