ethereals were also so awesome in tbc… i feel like the races, world and storyline were most interesting for me in tbc.

We just added 8 races to the game:
Troll
Orc
Human
Dwarf
Dreanei
Two elves
and a Tauren
One of those is anthropomorphized. Everything else is humanoid.

Personally, I think he’s still upsetti that Taruen and Worgen were added to the game at all. Ironic, considering his current race.

animals races are best part of wow.
even the orcs are basically animal races…
the fact that you can fight or play so many animal races is really interesting to me personally…it sets the game apart from all those generic mmos with mostly humanoid characters

They are the kind of race I hope to see in fantasy and adventure worlds!
Otherwise we would only have races of humans and other variants!
The very scenario of RPG involves race of various fantastic origins!
Otherwise, we shouldn’t even have orcs, trolls or elves, among other races we have today!
