The crooked, cool, shadowy, trinkety, wise, warm, kooky Arakkoa! Iāve always loved them - one of my favorite races in anything ever, not just in wow. Iād love to be able to make and play as one.

If BfA is going to cause some paradigm shift or be a watershed in the matter of lore, it would be a good chance to add more diversity to factions and their relationships with other races!
Discarding those with which our relations are defined as hostile, there are left over the races we have helped or cooperated with at some point!
Is it really that hard to add something remarkable to both factions?
Arakkoas would be a show of some appreciation for the alliance!
We are in need of something like this!

Itās mostly because itās considered the lazy way out and Blizzard is notorious at taking the lazy way out ā especially when expansions are involved.
Broken of Outland? We hardly seeāem.
Taunka of Northrend? Gone with the wind.
Jinyu and Hozen of Pandaria? Barely even have representation anymore.
Arakkoa of Alt. Draenor? Kicked to the curb.
Court of Farondis ghosts? Someone pulled a Thanos on them.
I think itās safe to say when a race is introduced in an expansion, it STAYS in that expansion for a long time, if not forever, unless they were made playable IN that expansion.
Would I play ANY of those if they were made playable? Hell yeah!
Does that mean Blizzard WILL make any of them playable? Ranges from ānot very likelyā to āalmost absolutely notā.

Even though I donāt think they will outright say it, ever, the same actually can apply to literally ANY race in the game that is not already playable.

True, with the void elves they just threw in the excuse of the blood elves being exiled. Maybe that one arakkoa seen passing through the portal can be the emissary, and Blizzard can just throw them in just like the void elves.

It would not be the WORST idea Blizzard has ever had.
That belongs to requiring specific reputation rankings to USE certain toys after having collected them.

I definitely want to play an unbroken arakkoa myself. Also, and this has probably been mentioned before, but another distinction between male and females could be that males are more colorful in general, with females having more dull and environmental-colors to their feathers.
Also, I feel like if they go on Alliance, they could get a racial flying mount of just them flying(in the case of uncorrupted arakkoa). Something possibly like the monk cloud (but not instant cast) for flavor or something. Though I doubt itād be used often if itās slow.
