Allied Race Idea: Arakkoa šŸ¦

There are means, and plots, that can be created or harnessed to see arakkoas in Azeroth!

It just depends on how much the devs are inspired to create something new and not recycled!:bird:

It would be cool for both types to be playable.

It also depends on the devs deciding if it should even be done or not.

Iā€™m not so sure about seeing the hunchbacked ones, but I do remember the tall and proud ones were actually decently looking, soā€¦

I guess if Blizzard expanded on that design, I could handle them?

If shadowlands is real I can see them coming back again.

Chances are, it IS real, but itā€™s just Patch 8.3: Not a full-fledged expansionā€¦

Which means we more than likely wonā€™t see themā€¦ T^T :bird:

Who knows. They might come back if its the shadowlands expansion and not 8.3

Many races are tied to it.

Yeah, but as far as we know, only the Arakkoa can walk into and out of them freely and without repercussions.

For the most part.

Void elves can now too. There starting zone is the shadow lands right? And some high elves been visiting just fine w/o being affected.

It would be too hard to put armor on arakoa. Same thing with ogres and naga. Probably why we wonā€™t see them.

Theirs is actually a void pocket dimension. The shadowlands is basically where the dead go.

If you mean the helmets and boots, look no further than Worgen or Tauren. Any animal-type race has had a bad history with helmetsā€¦

As for the wings? Look to Tauren, Draenei and Trolls. Just letā€™em clip. Not the first time Blizz has had to cut corners.

And before you ask about the shouldersā€¦ points to literally EVERY female Elf model in the game Thereā€™s your answer.

Whoops Im confusing void and undeath.

I wonder how similar both are. Perhaps void can bypass to shadowlands by the nature of its magic. Jaina had Umbric enhance her teleportation magic with void in the campaign. Shadow mixing with arcane. It was neat.

Arcane and Shadow are Analogous in the Wheel of Colorā€“I mean Power. This means they sit right next to each other.

Same goes for Void and Death.

This is also a personal theory as to what the hell happened with Calia as Light is attributed to Death and Order in the same way that Red, Yellow, and Blue are all Primary Colors.

The Chronicles Magic Map is the Color Wheel. Change my mind.

Idk void and shadow seem to be different schools. But idk how they explain its interactions with each other. Titans such as Norganon are able to use all schools. Even void. So I imagine us who are always growing in power will find ways to make unlikely pairs work. If the Naaru figured it out then the titans probably know too.

Although there is a theory going around that naaru may predate titans.

Either way, the Arakkoa will hopefully get involved before itā€™s too late.

It could be like Maghar coming out of nowhere though lol.

Perhaps some arrokoa tagged along and with there shadow magic able to traverse the timelines.

I actually did see ONE Arakkoa escape with the Magā€™har.

So like maybe that one can bridge the gap with the others. #plotline stuff can happen from foreshadowing like that.

Maybe the arrokoa will have 3 genders/bodytypes to choose from. Male female and cursed.

Maybe, if the Saberon and Botani donā€™t beat them to it.

As for the body types, I think they would be more inclined for four if they wanna make it work; one or two if they wanna be lazy.

Idk if the male and female are any different skeleton wise.

so maybe like instead of having genders they just have picking from cursed or with wings.

Like the Sethrak, they arenā€™t. Only their voices are.

Also, the low or high forms would be something that could be chosen in-game as opposed to being a character creation option (where you design both forms simultaneously just to see what they look like).

Edit: Weā€™re almost at the 200th reply to the thread and long since passed 400 likes! Yay Arakkoa fans! :bird: :bird: :bird:
