Alliance war effort box is awful

The loot bag is amazing, you can earn gold WHILE pvping. You don’t have to pick between farming or pvping.

3g, 3 cloth, and some level 55 food or water now is less than 4g for a win, nothing for a loss and bliz is wondering why people who need nothing from BGing aren’t queing.

If you need nothing from bging, then don’t bg. The box is not made to make non pvpers pvp. It’s made to reward pvpers for pvping with the new pvp changes to horde v horde and alliance pvpers being cry babies

I got 3gold, 1 clefleather and 5 waters! WORTH IT

no rewards for loss, that incentivizes auto losing. id say 20-25g a win is fair.

Literally no sweat. There’s bigger difference between honor gains between premade vs not than there is horde vs alliance.

As a druid healer you should find premades easy. (But not right now I guess.)

sound’s like warmode? can do both

If there is nothing for a loss people won’t bother, even if there is a 50:50 win:loss ratio.

I’m against the loss bonus as well for reason already stated (afk/bot/give up). Just add whatever is needed to the win bonus to get the proper incentive.

lol okay then its unfixable. cause thats just bad design and greedy players.

War mode failed because alliance don’t like pvp. Factions are equal pop across all realms yet horde queues were an issue due to most alliance not wanting to pvp, so the box is a reward for those who do want to pvp.

this is how it was in original tbc, also. in fact, i recall queue-ing as alliance for wsg, over and over again, 10 hours a day for 2 weeks, and not winning a single wsg. and back then, if your team didnt win, you didnt get anything at all, so participation was more like poking yourself in the eye.

can confirm. but we had 7 minute AV rush wins :sunglasses:

got a mark lol

when? i specifically recall not being able to even buy a pvp trinket, much less the epic purple bracers that had inspired my 2 week foray into wasted adrenaline.

always lol. i got my gear in TBC 1 mark at a time. vanilla has 1 mark per loss too.

could marks be used to buy gear from quartermaster? (my case was rather unique. blizz had paired my alliance pve server with a horde pvp server on the battlegroup. you can just imagine how often we won. lol)

Dont queue, its a con to get you to queue

TBC or vanilla? TBC it was combination marks and honor to buy stuff, just like it is now. vanilla was certain rank and buy it with gold, like it was in classic.

I mean I wouldn’t consider the rewards an incentive. I guess it’s nice to make some small income from spamming bgs all day.

I called it when they made the announcement.

TABLE SCRAPS!

I hate being right…
