Why would you not just make it extra honor or marks? Why not remove racials? Why not let players pick their racials? Why not have one-sided free transfers?
The same reason we have any of these problems. The game is being managed by people who either don’t care, don’t understand the game and player base, or are just plain stupid.

What did you expect? Something good from bilzz because they are adding retail features with “care package” handouts. My expectations are nil as that’s what they will end up delivering to the masses and call it fair n just
no it doesnt, because the main reason for playing bgs is for marks and honor, not farming gold. you shouldnt need any incentive aside from the gear you already get from them. youre pathetic with how many handouts you want.
I don’t want a hand out. I also don’t want to waste my time. Keep the hour ques for all I care.

I already said I’d be happy if they adjusted honor. Across the board - not just for Alliance.
But if they want to give Alliance incentives they’re going to have to come up with something of value. Why would trash be considered an incentive? Seriously. What Alliance is going to say, “OMG BREAD?? And CLOTH??? I’m queuing up ALL DAY!”

Exactly my point. I’ll keep spending my time mining in stead of BGing. They are trying to insentivise alliance to que and they are failing at it.

The incentive is to get more ppl from the alliance to play so that it helps the Horde’s que. That is all.
i get why its there, but no amount of incentives that wont destroy the economy will get people to do something that they dont want to do.

That’s where you are wrong. I will farm in the city via BGing if I get an equal value to what I get mining and chesting in the open world. As for destroying the economy, it’ll just make things affordable and maybe get rid of some botters/gold farmers.

So you get instant queues, get to farm honor, and want to make the same amount of gold per hour as you would farming in open world/dungeons?

No I’m not saying they do—another poster was saying they SHOULD provide the same GPH as normal farming…
Which, in my opinion, is asking too much
If the goal is to incentivize people to do bg’s over other activities that is exactly the kind of thing that needs to happen to make these boxes work properly. I’m not sure why you care considering those resources will never affect you in any way.

Perception (one of the best arena racials), stoneform (the best priest racial), and Escape Artist (best warrior racial)—doesn’t seem like bad racials at all…
As for the faction imbalance it’s irrelevant …more people just want to play Horde—That’s a preference choice nobody should suffer because their faction is more popular. That’s just the way it is

Pretty much this. Humans, dwarves, and gnomes are all similar looks-wise, while each Horde race is very distinct. A lot of people want to play as a race that doesn’t resemble a human, hence Horde having a larger population. Now, with the addition of the “prettiest” race, blood elf, the Horde population is bigger than ever before.
