Shaman also buff the Warlocks/Hunters and provide Heroism.
Sorry, but you want at least one Enhancement and at least one Elemental for each raid. More is good too, depending on if youâre physical or magic heavy, and Enhancement can also buff the Hunters.
The utility Shaman bring is immensely important. Hunters/Warlocks bring damage, and the first one or two bring utility.

Ouch. I looks like TBC modified the shaman parry talent so that it also reduces threat by 30%. That talent seems like they really donât expect shamans to be tanking but rather to make enhancement a viable melee dps spec.

Donât listen to these people. Break away from the meta and do as you wish! That is the beauty of TBC, you can do what you wish. I actually fully plan on making an enhancement tank for TBC. I played an enhancement tank to 50 in vanilla and am excited to see how well I can make it work in TBC.

Shaman, stop making up that people are kicking you from groups in classic. I seriously doubt people created a group under the premise of having a shaman tank and then just kick you in the dungeon. There is no LFG to make your lie make sense.
Stoneclaw doesnât actually taunt. It generates a set amount of threat, it doesnât guarantee an aggro change like a true tank taunt. Any competent DPS (or if the pull is messy competent healer pumping out big heals) is going to out aggro Stoneclaw.
Hell as main spec resto, stoneclaw canât rip off my resto lightning bolts.
The higher your level goes, the worse your effective health and threat generation get. At 70, for example. A full bis Tier 6 geared Enh shaman, would have less HP, Armor, Block, etc than a Pre-Raid Warrior.

I literally just got kicked from a VC group, but thats ok because im getting stocks boosted now, just after i roasted boosters too
Hence why Stoneclaw totem is mostly used against a pack of mobs. It can also nichely be used in single target scenarios, simply place the totem in the path of the mob in the pre-pull to possibly make them momentarily stop, enabling an extra cast of Lightning Bolt/Chain Lightning.

A Warlock tank and Hunter Tank massively trumps both the defensive and threat capabilities of a Walker and Hunter pet. Hell, I donât even think the Walker/Pet spell âSuffering/Growlâ is a pure " fixate Taunt" rather just flat threat.
Frost Nova (which is increasable by the way), is such a massive amount of threat itâs not remotely close to pet spells.
