Hello! Thanks in advance for reading! I currently play Horde. There’s a super nice transmog that is alliance pvp gear that is purchasable from the vendors. If I were to transfer my character to alliance, get the gear so it’s in my collection… and then transfer back to Horde (once the required amounts of time before transferring pass) would I still have access to the alliance transmog appearance?
I’m willing to do the transfers, but I don’t want to do it if I definitely will lose the alliance appearance.
Most items like that would either not be usable on the other faction, or change to a faction equivalent on transfer. What item(s) in particular are you looking at?
The appearances for the differing Alliance and Horde sets are locked to their respective factions. No matter a faction change or anything of the sort, they will show the appearance of the faction wearing it.

I was looking at Ferocious Gladiator’s Scaled Helm… There’s a version for horde and alliance,- but alliance has the diamond shaped blue crown. It won’t let me link it in my post.
It makes sense that if I faction changed it would just show me the horde version of the gear since the are named exactly the same. On to find something else I suppose .
