Alliance Merc Queue

I want to able to queue against the Alliance. Because It looks so much fun to be Horde in Epic Battlegrounds.

Please allow us to fighting our own faction too.

oh heeey Elo, I’m a fan of yours :ok_hand:

You’re like one of maybe 2-3 Alliance pugs that actually knows how to do good damage… you’re usually the lone blue line towards the top of the charts - in a sea of red

Haha I try. But I’m super tilted all the time now. I may turn red. But I feel like I’d end up with the Alliance again as a depressed merc!

I was in that one IoC where you (somehow) outhealed some Alliance “healers” as a Mage, pretty impressive feat tbh :scream:

If I remember correctly, you passed a Disc Priest and a Resto Druid on the healing meters as a DPS Mage

But then again some of the “healers” in Alliance pug BGs really make me wonder… I’ve been loaded up with like 10 different DoTs, slowly ticking down while standing next to 2-3 Alliance healers and… I just die?? :man_facepalming:

I think some of them give up really quickly. They fail to heal the tankiest players, and meanwhile, on Horde side, they’re sometimes able to heal some 30k health heroes without much of an issue.

Alliance healers could really use some kind of forced basic training before entering a BG. You’d see people performing this badly in any other games, they’d be reported for throwing/feeding, etc.

They’re just epic bgs though, not like they matter a whole lot. But, losing is no fun. lol

Ya, I get that casual BGs are not serious content, but come on… at least be able to out-heal pure DPS players - do your job (healing).

Getting outhealed by… a friggin Mage? At that point it’s like, learn-2-play your class…

Getting outhealed by a DPS Mage is embarrassing regardless of the excuse

This mindset is bad and everyone who has it should feel bad.

If there’s a win/loss column, it’s not casual.

If you’re not there to win it, you shouldn’t be in it.

I, too, compare the bare minimum form of competitive content in a 16 year old MMO to actual sports people get paid to play.

Goodness gracious.

They should have added merc for both ally and horde a long time ago. Can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve tried playing alliance epic bg and 1 horde player raging in the chat distracting everyone and turning the game in to a big chat room.

Next time you do a epic bg look at the 1 player raging in chat, I can bet you 90% of the time you try whispering them it says player not found.

There would be no advantage for Alliance merc’ing to Horde.

You realize your Ally team is mostly under-geared mercs ? Epics are like 80% Merc or more .

LOL, no they are not.

That’s incorrect.

Looks like I need to start queueing up.

I outdamage half the dps on my team i wish i could report them for negative contribution

You should, but you may also lose a little bit of your sanity.

As long as people are trying, it’s fine. Lots of healers in epic bgs just go around without a purpose instead of following the team. Healing is a much more difficult role, in my opinion.

Theres usually a correlation between losing and me as a healer being top damage :joy:

Here’s an idea.
Don’t do ANY damage, and you’ll win everytime!

Worst teams are the ones filled with casters and no frontline. A bunch of incredibly squishy mages and warlocks. Generally all it takes is one death knight to mess everything up. lol

It’s something I see a lot when I solo queue. Big melee characters are kind of the masters of aoe cc/disruption. You need a lot of those willing to sacrfice themselves for the team.

Can confirm, i generally cry internally when i see 4 geared rets, a warrior and a frost dk in silvershard mines on the other team

I’ve tried that but people keep walking in front of my hammers?? Like idk how it happens they just put their face in the way :pensive:
