Its funny how you are scared to transfer to an Alliance dominated PVP server.
You have server A with 70H/30A and they open free transfer to a server that is 40H/60A. You blame this to âalliance fleeingâ but how many Hordes move from the comfort zone? If a 30% of hordes move the problem will be minimal, but they dont want that. They also donât want a âpveâ pvp server (90/10) but they got it by inaction.
IMO people want to be on the dominant faction of the server, with enough enemies to farm, not too much that they can fight, but not to few for they be a rare spawn.
Donât try to tell them that. They just donât want all of their ganking targets to flee.
Such a magnificent counter-argument. You know what I also have? An alliance lvl 60 character on a horde dominated server. So thereâs that.
I actually am on a PvP server, unlike you, carebear.
I think itâs fair to say anyone would be 100% happy with a 45/55 split in either direction. The second we get to 60/40 territory it gets nasty. Naturally PVP servers always have more horde on them, due to the nature of PVP and Horde. So on average they will always over populate most pvp servers. Was going to roll on Herod on launch, decided Skeram, then decided Stalagg all before any server had a single person. All three of those would have sucked for Horde PVP unfortunately. Weâre all in chats to move to heart seeker for pvp! I hope we convince the guild.
Being honest, non-sassy comment, IDK. IMO 60/40 is still fine (Iâm on incendius and is 60H/40A) but most people react with fear on the idea of what it means to be in a server that is 60/40, 70/30, 80/20. Iâm not saying that unbalanced server are fine, but are not that bad.
The real problem, the âbrace yourselfâ moment, will come on p3, if the balance on BGs are much more favorable for one faction. I played a long time, saw Hordes dominated times and Alliance dominated times and always where problematic (insane long queue, forum cries non stop, people quitting). And I donât see how they could fix that w/o a big meddling hand.
Ironically I think keeping sharding would have helped this transfer fiasco. People who donât want to be ganked would leave for a better shard, people who want to WPVP would join the shard with other pvpers.
People who dont want to be ganked have the option of roll on a pve server, sharding is a monstrosity for classic, ffs.
Scared? Iâm not the soft casual that left because of Qâs or not being able to defend myself in the open world. I love the hate in your tone it turns me on.
My server was close to " balanced " at one point. Itâs not my fault the losers ran with tails tucked between. You can thank me for helping my faction dominate. Heartseeker will always be known as the " Shadow Realm ".
Youâre the soft casual that rolled on a pve server, and is too much of a coward to take a free xfer to a server where youâd be facing what Alliance are facing on your server right now.
You are only able to handle wpvp when you outnumber the other faction 4-1, meaning you as a player are 4x worse than the average player in this game.
You are literally no different from HS alliance- so anything youâre saying about them applies to you. Youâre a cowardly loser, clutching your tail and hoping youâll never have to face a fair fight in wpvp because you could never handle it.
(When asked âWhat is best in life?â) To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!
most realms? Old Blanchy and Myz are 70% ally 30% horde from what we have seen just talking amongst ourselves in chat over time.
Thatâs 2 servers that do not comply with your theory.
Ok Carebear.
When we first created our toons on PvP servers, we were hoping for active/fun wPvP. We werenât hoping to end up on a significantly imbalanced realm where players on the smaller faction leave the server because thereâs no point in staying.
The goal isnât to play on a de facto PvE realm.
If they showed you pop stats, you might not play on that server, they would rather f you over than give you info, hth, never trust blizz to do anything but f you.
Why so scared to transfer to a PvP server? You donât want to leave your PvE server still?
good lurd, thatâs about the best idea Iâve ever seen
EDIT: well, itâs the right line of thought. could be implemented with all sorts of soft penalties. armor, damage, login time, ⌠pretty much anything
Or merge horde heavy servers with ally heavy ones to help balance it as the initial hype for classic wears somewhat
Donât blame the players for seeking greener grass. Horde have been bragging about their numbers for years while Alliance have been outspoken about the issue. Some of us even campaigned on the forums to make transfers faction based so imbalances were fixed, not exacerbated. Blame Blizzard and Horde that canât PVP without 80 to 20 imbalance.
