Xfinity “Help” didn’t help … same issues but might have made worse… Got the VPN to work and got to correct version but still have to use VPN to log into WoW and then can switch to Xfinity … Dreading the next update.
I think Comcast owes us all Dion’s. Even in Alaska
Edit: did nothing special. No game repair, no jumping through hoops to infinity. Just exited the game and there was an update and now I’m able to log in.
I’ve been getting the same error. I log and see my list of realms as “Incompatible.” I select my realm anyway and try to log in but I’m disconnected instead, and this is where that error pops up. “You have been disconnected. (WOW51900223)”
I am not in New Mexico nor is my ISP Comcast.
It’s Tuesday, after scheduled maintenance, and I’m unable to log in, unlike others on my friends list who are.
Hello Zayssie, Same issue in EU realms today.
what i notice is really strange - my client is 10.0.7.48892 with release date 31.03. and it says incompatible. When i delete the Battle net launcher and install it (MACOS with remove all Library files) , the launcher shows 10.0.7.48865 which is minor minor version lower than the one that was few hours ago, and I suppose that’s why battle net client do not push update to the game. Now when login game is 10.0.7.48865 with release date 30.03, so I suppose you do some revert back on wow servers or something happen in the backend which corrupted the client, so you push earlier version.
I have had this issue since Friday 03/31/2023 I have updated all my drivers and I am at or above recommended on all specs. I followed all the steps several times and I still can’t Logg into any realms.
Had a Comcast tech at the house today. He let us know that New Mexico Comcast has been slammed with calls for the problems we all are having. He was unable to help although he sure did give a serious go at it. Here in Los Lunas we have decided to wait it out for a few more days. If anyone finds a non VPN solution please post.
I guess I’m here to join the club then. I contacted support from my phone on 4G and they linked me to this post.
Funny enough, I moved out a few months ago where I had Plateau fiber, but had to settle for Comcast at my new place.
I did try a private VPN but had no luck with it. I do have friends and family on other ISPs who are willing to let me “borrow” their connection to test. It’s unsustainable though, I wouldn’t route our entire household through them (everyone here is also having issues with WoW, as well as one friend who also has Comcast and plays, and another who has Comcast, doesn’t play, but can’t access certain parts of Battle.NET).
I come home today to find all servers incompatible again. This is not sustainable, blizz, to push as many updates as you do with all this ISP confusion. 3-4x a week to try to get this workaround?
also the subs are superior. Green Chile turkey sub with two slices of pizza!
