in 2020, paid sub but lousy customer services.
i never said yall should have to pay for transfers. the best solution for oceanic is for blizzard to open 4 new servers, aq gates closed, and allow free transfers for a week. its really the only good solution at this point. turning layering back on would only delay this problem into the future again. im sure you guys would be ok with having layers all through naxx, but that just doesnt seem right to me.

We had free transfers. People did not utilise them. One second, looking at my post history from the last time this happened for the exact reason this applies.

No-one is interested in leaving to create another. We are seeing this right now on the Oceanic realms. We have 3 PvP servers, one is full, one is medium and one is low. The low population realm people are transferring to the full realm, very few, if any guilds have transferred to the medium population realm. This is exactly why free transfers don’t work. Who wants to move to a realm with little community, empty AH’s and little ability to make gold from sales? Queues actually do not incentivise transfer away, they incentivise transfer to; everyone wants to be part of the success stories.”

The problem with transferring is that the AQ gates are closed on every other server. why would adding more servers with them closed fix the situation?
idk. i guess 2 servers gates opened and 2 servers gates closed. anything to keep yall from blowing up the forums.

Layers worked.
I don’t want the Scarab Lord in our guild, and the other guilds, to have to half-kill themselves again so we can get new content on a fresh server WHICH - by the same logic you’re using - will face a similar problem down the line.
They’re a trillion-dollar company - why can’t they afford the infrastructure to support the numbers of current gameplay?

blizzard dont even want to pay their staff enough money for rent and ask their staff to take game credits.
Do YOU THINK THEY want to invest more money into hardware?
By forcing queue and taking out layers. They save cost.
