So you’re going to complain about a mount that was never being rewarded from LFR because it’s not being rewarded from lfr?

I don’t know if anyone remembers, but Blizzard has a tendency to pick the worst option. They added a 2h mace in Uldir, called “Khor, Hammer of the Corrupted”. Or was it “Khor, Hammer of the Guardian”? That’s right. It was both. And day 1 of the raid, heroic week, “Khor, Hammer of the Guardian” was functionally identical to the Corrupted version. Same stats, same damage. Except no, that was intended as a “cosmetic option” so they nerfed its stats with a hotfix. Let’s ignore that every previous “cosmetic” reward was not only viable, but sometimes even BiS - Garrosh Shoulders, Xavius Shoulders. Even the 1h mace from Maiden in Tomb of Sargeras, and the 2h sword from Aggramar, and the scythe from Argus had viable stats. You’d never use them, coz artifact weapons… but still
So what was their solution to this mistake? They nerfed the stats of the Guardian version (Including those obtained by people on day 1) leaving [amongst others i assume] me without any weapon for our 2nd raid night. There was also quite a few issues with the item restoration at the time (I imagine for related reasons?) so I couldn’t actually raid, because I’d sold my previous weapon and honestly didn’t notice til we started raid.
This wasn’t the end of it though, not by a longshot. A short while later, they reverted the stat nerf for players who had obtained it day 1 and left it dropping as a cosmetic recolour of “Khor, Hammer of the Corrupted”. BUT IT KEEPS GOING.
So now at this point, there are some players with a unique item in the game. “Khor, Hammer of the Guardian” but with, y’know, stats. Hell even a socket in mine [Gotta love RNG sockets… right?] and nobody else would ever be able to receive a version like it again. Being the collector that I am, I kept this item. Kept it riiiight up until some point during 8.3, when it just mysteriously vanished. I hadn’t sold it, I couldn’t restore it.
SO I sent in a ticket “Hey, where’s mah loots? My memento?”… it took 5 tickets before anyone actually realized what I was saying about missing the item. “You can go do Uldir, and have a chance to obtain it again” they said, ignoring the uniqueness of the situation. “Khor, Hammer of the Guardian” is a cosmetic version, they said. 5 tickets later, someone finally says “Hey, yeah, so we removed it because players were never intended to have it.” Finally, at least, some confirmation.
Thus concludes the tale of the “Khor, Hammer of the Corrupted/Guardian” debacle.

The only reason LFR doesn’t have all the mechanics or normal raid is because entitiled individuals such as yourself throw a massive tempur tantrum after one wipe and leave. Hence why you should read my entire comment, where I point out other games put the actual raid as a qued for event and it does just fine with pugs. I’m not really the entitled one, I jsu tcame to the conclusion this game isn’t worth coming back to.

I did read it. From what I have heard ff raiding is braindead and it’s all dance mechanics.
So go play ff like I said and leave those of us that enjoy this game in peace.
Here is how you get your slime cat. I’ll be attempting this method when I gear up my priest.
Make an AoTC only normal group. Then if someone points out you don’t have AoTC, say it’s on your other account that’s 6 month banned for being toxic, but don’t worry, you have it.
Then proceed to get carried. If you die, it’s everyone else’s fault. Never accept blame.

What is your bone for the mount given to Lfr? Does it matter to you? Or you feel your better than everyone else sick of shadowlands being a crappy expansion bored by everything , who wanting to get a cool mount PROMISED by blizzard in ALL raids difficulties? What’s your issue. I have kids. I cannot spend 4-5 hours at once raiding. I don’t have a guild anymore. They all quit wow after legion. Lfr fixes my raiding issues. Don’t flaunt your ability to no life wow, over others inability to do that. We play games because they are fun. When blizzard makes them boring or unable to play casually then I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Aka subs dropping when blizzard pulls this crap. I don’t owe blizzard anything. They owe me fun if they want my money. -from casuals.

When the achievement was written as “any”LFR wasn’t actually a part of the fated raid.
They then added LFR to the fated raids and then went back to clarify that LFR was not receiving the mount.
If you look at this link listing the rewards you can clearly see LFR isn’t mentioned.
Which means LFR was never intended to award the mount.
So feel free to lose the attitude.
Ok that is live updated. My apologies if you felt offended but I don’t retract my statement. It was on the ptr and live for a bit that said ALL difficulties. You should see the forums screen shots. I’m not ignorant on this. I was saying a point.
I know that it said “any”. What I clearly explained to you is that is said “any” because when the achievement was made LFR was not a part of the fated raids. Once LFR was added it had to be changed.
Everything on the ptr is subject to change.

I have 3 kids and I raid 2 hours on Tuesday and Thursday in at AotC guild that I got into because I whispered the members and asked for a ginvite because their raiding works worked for me. It doesnt take hours and hours to clear normal at all and don’t pretend it does because we all know it is a lie.
You can pug normal mode or take 5 second look up guilds on your server that clear normal and get a guild that way.
You have months to do this. And it’s annoying to have players state lies because they don’t want to put forth any effort.
If you want the whole story you buy the books, the game has very little of the story raids even less.
I’m just telling you how things are going 2nd week in:
First week was fun, easy to get into a group that went the entire normal raid without a problem. We had fun and but still challenging with only 2 wipes on 2 different bosses and both were just bad luck and easy to recover.
Second week has been a dumpster fire. Normal Sanctum not fun at all. Took more time getting into a group than the raid run and both together took the same amount of time clearing trash. Blizz really needs to reduce the amount of trash from boss to boss and have things in place to get back to a boss easily after a wipe. These things are not fun. Bosses have way too much health compared to the last weeks run and bosses have way more mechanics that are unforgiving. DPS check, Heal check and tank check causes people to leave in frustration or be kicked. Again - not fun.
So far I’d have to say that blizzard really didn’t put fun in their equation and the result so far is a negative one.
I’m not going to sit here and tell blizz what they need to do to fix it. Nope. Just going to tell them that in my opinion…they screwed up this week.
The kicker is I’m a returning player and have done the yards to get gear but still no set bonus even though I have the legendries at max and have completed both last weeks raid on LFR and Normal difficulty and this weeks too, on LFR before attempting Normal. I received the achievements for both as well.
The dictators and narcissists that seem to be the majority running normal raids…guys like me are looked down upon and this makes it very hard to get into any raids so far.
Blizz, if you wanted to alienate a good portion of your casual player base, you have succeeded. You set us up to be harassed, insulted and put down. If that was your goal then let me be the first to say you have achieved this goal…
To those of you who have the skill/time/gear/effort/knowledge - I envy you. At least someone is having fun (I assume)
