All I see here is, “Waa wa waaaaa wa waaa. I want what I want when I want it and I don’t want to be bothered with having to earn it.”
Honestly, it’s a mount. Move on and (and this is the important part) shut up.
I don’t see where the mount ended up as important… I DO however find the way in which it was handled dishonest and atrocious. to look at it like “hey it worked out my way and, in my favor, so I have no complaints” is just wrong, no one should be excusing that kind of business behavior, because next time you don’t have any grounds for complaint when abysmal business practices DON’T work out in your favor because you kind of OK’d it and approved of it the first time… JMO
On the other hand… those who have gone into the raids solely for the mount, have your own set of problems, I believe with Microsoft the winds will change, putting in this so called “experiment” is an attempt at something involving another company take over and tangible proof to show. this wasn’t a decision made lightly to force people into raiding for an ugly mount… sooo… those of you all who jumped into the raiding with both feet provided it some kind of evidence that may well be used against you at a further date… also… JMO

I’m just wondering… do you also complain constantly about all the other mounts you’re not getting?
I just don’t understand why people are completely losing their minds over a mount, when there are many, many, MANY other mounts that come and go, and are never seen again… and people don’t say a word.
If Blizzard was in a horror movie, they’d be the one begging to go hide in the abandoned shed were the chainsaw wielding maniac was most recently seen instead of the running and fueled car.

If you bother to actually read posts about the slime cat, people aren’t complaining about other mounts they can’t get, they’re complaining specifically about this mount because they were led to believe they could obtain it in content they’re comfortable with, and at the last second that was changed. But you already know that, I’m sure. You’re just here to enjoy kicking some people while their down.
I get that the wording was vague. I was even saying, before the achievement was adjusted, that I expected them to make the achievement match the (vague) achievement text, rather than the other way around.
I still don’t think there’s any reason for people to get THIS up-in-arms over it. Especially since it’s the mount that LOST the poll.

Just because it didn’t win the poll doesn’t mean people didn’t vote for it. A whole lot did. And a whole lot of that whole lot were glad to see they’d be able to get it, only to have it taken away at the last minute. And yes, it was taken away if, for whatever reason, they can’t do normal raiding.
I’m just saying, where was all of this “I only subscribed to this game to get this one mount and now I can’t!” outrage when the cat lost the poll in the first place? Why didn’t they unsub then, if getting this mount is the ONLY thing that matters?
None of it makes any sense.
So this week went a little rougher than for castle nathria, I’m 9/10 out of 3 pugs (first 4 with the 1st pug, then 2 more on a 2nd pug, 3rd pug was already past a boss I need).
The first one was by far the most trouble, at one point we had 4 players out of 14 with 4 piece bonus, rest of them players that obviously never entered the place but wouldn’t ask question at all. I never understood that. If you don’t know, ask…
The second one, I had to rekill remnant cause that what they were at, and we defeated painsmith without much trouble. I didn’t check gear or experience.
The third one, oof, what a good group. Blew through fatescriber, kel’thuzad and sylvanas like I’ve never seen. Was very smooth.
About 5 hours of raiding over 3 days, with the majority of it on the first group because, as bad as they were, I didn’t want to abandon them, until it was 11pm and I just had to go.
I’m only missing guardian for this week’s normal fated achievement.
All of that pugging.
You do not get set gear from CN or SoD, next weeks raid does drop set gear.
Or you could take the gear you got from the raid and use the machine in ZM to turn them into set gear.
You can get tier gear from the fated raid. I got gloves from it and they were able to be converted to tier.
