Money comes first. It is obviously for profit since boosting communities are charging 400k per raid full clear on normal. Never buy into this “oh it’s for your own good, blah blah blah” nonsense. Someone with a very short sight who is calling the shots made them change it and that is that.

Sorry you don’t like facts.
LFR wasn’t originally part of the fated raids
Which means when it was added they forgot to adjust the achievement.
Which means LFR was never getting the mount.
So fix it to add LFR instead of fixing the verbiage that says it’s excluded. Who gives an F?
“Oops, we screwed up and the sign/ad/flyer/coupon included too much in the sale. We’ll honor the sign for our mistake.” Happens all the time in like, every other business.

FF14 has their raids all available in a LFR style and they are not dumbed down. This hate that some elitist have towards LFR is junk (they edited out the other options) and there is proof, if you look at other games, that LFR does not detract form community. No, it is instead the very toxic player base of this game that ruins it. I have tried getting into raids for this moutn back to back days and was instead blocked form it for who knows what stupid reason the group leader had. This instead causes a lot of stress to others and people not in established raid groups.
I came back to the game for the new expansion after almost a decade away, I already cancled my subscription and have decided against playing th enew xpac coming out. Not making the slime mount availble to LFR is what did it. I will instead go to FF14 where they don’t spit in the face of their player base.
My honest opinion is that Blizzard devs have friends or are in these end game guilds themselves and have noticed the gold from selling AOTC has dried up, so they gave them an extra special mount to sell.

No. LFR shouldn’t receive a raiding seasonal reward.
The mount was never intended for LFR. If you want the mount do normal.
Yet that’s not even remotely close to what happened.
Reward was for doing fated normal/heroic/mythic. They made the achievement any because at the time the only fated raids were normal/heroic/mythic.
They then add LFR to the fated and didn’t realize the achievement said any and then clarified that.
As it was in ptr your analogy doesn’t even work because it wasn’t even live yet.
So go play ff.

Or they are trying to get more people to try real raiding.

Why do people who refuse to raid feel entitled to a raiding seasonal reward?
It’s not just entry-level, but there for a chance for players who are not interested in investing a lifetime of time to do harder content to experience end-game content. It’s merely for the experience and not the finale. Anyone who has a problem with that is too worried about how others play and wish to control the narrative. Just let players play the way the want and leave them alone.

LFR isn’t entry level raiding. LFR is the No challenge so people can see the story content mode.

Oh boy, literally saw this one dude create a thread and talk about his opinions, achievements and educated guesses for 5 days straight, 9-10 hours a day. No joke, he sat there just giving out his opinions and arguing with everyone and anyone on why casuals shouldn’t get a cosmetic item in LFR.
But he kept insisting that he didn’t care if they got it.
I said the same exact thing. Its was an easy multiple choice. The focus should be making everyone happy. And I also don’t know why people have an elitist attitude. Being good in a game means nothing, why not help put a smile on someone else’s face. If a pixel mount makes them happy, let them have it.

It’s a seasonal raid reward.
LFR has never given seasonal raid rewards.
The cause of the achievement has been explained.
LFR was never intended to get the mount.
The sooner people stop crying about it the better.
I have 14 days left on my account time. All of which will be used to continue to complain on the forums about this bad move from blizz. I wont trust them enough to buy their expansion at the rate at which they are ignoring this. Last time i stopped playing it was about a year off. Probably just wont come back this time.
