Hi, Meledir here. I have not PvPed except to kill the occasional flagged horde in open world content. I am level 50 with 7 lifetime kills, and until I logged in tonight, no PvP rank. Now, as of logging in 5 minutes ago, I am a Sergeant Major (rank 5). With 7 lifetime kills. My alt druid is 45 and has 6 lifetime kills, again with zero instanced PvP, but NO PvP rank.
Can anyone explain?
Did you use commendations of honor from STV at all?
I haven’t turned anything in for honor at all.
They broke the honor rankings when they gave a trophy to every child on Tuesday, and are radio silent about it.
Then I suggest putting in a ticket about the situation to report it.
Basically, they made it so that everyone could farm the honor needed for Rank 7 in Phase 3 during the last couple weeks of Phase 2.
However, what some people did not know was that they needed to also get 15 Honorable Kills in the first week of Phase 3 or else the honor that they’d farmed from the STV PvP event would not count.
People who didn’t realize this proceeded to cry all over the forums and other forms of social media. Apparently, it was enough people that Blizzard decided to do this:
Now, if I had to guess, their ‘one time only fix’ that they implemented for this has not been entirely functional. It has bugs, it has glitches… and its apparently giving some people who didn’t even earn it a random PvP Rank like you earned, while giving other people who technically did get the honor they needed nothing.
