There was just another patch with a lot of class changes (looks like they’ve arrived at the numbers balancing portion of beta already). Doesn’t seem like there’s much time left to hope for big class changes anymore.
Although, the mistweaver section of the patch was very short. Maybe they didn’t get a balance pass like many other specs because they have a bunch of changes that haven’t come out yet so there was no reason to bother balancing the current version?!

You are correct Enhancement Shamans are 100% redone. They lost malstrom and gained procs. They lost short term weapon buffs(few seconds part of the rotation) to maintain and gained long term ones (60mins). They got back totems. Over all the only thing they didn’t gain back was 2h windfury delete people in pvp crits.
But yes, they have had a few major passes in the alpha and now numbers tweaks in the beta.
Man, it seems no one working in the classes care at all about monks, no changes, no addressing, not even “we are aware monks are upset” Nothing.
Transparency has been declining for blizzard. They only provide information after the action has already been taken, and sometimes not even then.

How can they not even mention anything to us? If they don’t wanna work on the monk anymore just let the community know. Feels bad they can’t even give us 2mins. At least say DH is taking over for monks. I don’t even understand what is going on with MW and I main MW lol.
BTW Pyro foretold this many months ago. Everyone mocked PYRO but not anymore. Who’s the BIG Panda NOW!? 
Just took a look at mmo-champion to check for blue posts and saw a wall of text regarding class changes, and guess what? No monk changes, maybe they do hate us unironically.
Hey now, Reverse Harm got nerfed, so at least they know Monks do exist!
The wowhead Aug 19 Blue Tracker does read “All classes are receiving major updates…”
So perhaps they’re just still working on monks and not ready to reveal what they’ve changed?? 
Mate we’ve been yelling for years and WW and MW have only gotten worse. It takes two to tango and Blizzard haven’t come to the table since the end of MoP.
Most of the older Monks on here are the ones telling new people that they should play MW/WW only if they like the spec but don’t want to be competitive.
The outrage is gone and with it, the ballgame. Blizz are content leaving Monks as the least played class. Neglecting them causes the least amount of trouble. It is what it is.
I agree, buff my PvP dmg more! 
If you’re talking about live I’d argue you’re being over-dramatic. We’re fine enough to progress and any performance problems you are having with monk is personal.
O well. We get changes in 10.0 maybe
Pre-patch should release in like what 19-25 days?? Maybe we can get our brand new Bugs fixed in 9.1!

Blizzard needs to give monk some love. We are not inline with other classes.
Expel Harm 15 sec cd does literally no damage and unusable on players there was no reason to nerf the current reverse harm to trash state
The old reverse harm should be baseline for monks.
I predict:
9.0 WW PvP will be garbage like in BfA first patch.
I’m getting a lot of Legion -> BfA flashbacks here. Though at least we got BoK giving CDR to RSK and FoF in BfA. The most promising change I’ve seen/heard of for SL is WW getting sticks back as an option.
If you mean by sticks you mean 2h weapons for ww then I hate to inform you I just logged off the beta a min ago and it still does not allow you to use FoF.
So no 2h right now for ww.

Also get rid of that MoC debuff in ww aoe, and let monks double jump
And we still have at least a month of beta, possibly even 4, somewhere in that range.
A lot can happen in that time frame, if enough attention is drawn to the class it is very possible that something will happen.
Just hopefully that something is some type of communication on the state of the class and an awareness/ willingness to listen to feedback
