Hmmmm, something terribly went wrong!
Somehow on one of my toons (bank alt) All items disappeared:
the toon is naked,
Nothing in the primary bag,
Nothing in the bank,
Nothing in reagent tab,
Primary bag slots are empty,
bank slots are empty.
But the funny thing is, none of the gold has disappeared! All auctions are still there, mailbox has stuff in it. Guild bank is intact (the toon has full control on the guild bank)
I don’t think it was a hacker since all of this happened while I was logged in.
What I did was, post a bunch of auctions, then logged in a couple of other alts and send stuff to the naked toon via mail, then logged back the toon only to find out almost everything is gone!

You’re probably seeing the “items missing” glitch that people have been reporting.
I think there is a method for being able to see your items again somewhere on the forums.

I tried that! Deleted the cache folder, renamed Interface and WTF folders, launched the game: Items are still missing
Edit: Ok somehow, the problem automagically fixed by itself! I played my main a little bit, then went back to the bank alt and all items are back in their right spots!
This is a known bug, you can confirm this happens to you by noticing your heart of azeroth is gone. To fix it simply delete your toon and restore it. It fixes it. When this occurs your bank/bags/gear will all appear to be gone. This is the fix given by GM to fix mine on 2 accounts. It is rare but it happens.
I’ll assume this is good functional advice, but a word of warning: there’s a cooldown on restoring a character, and if it’s still up because you used it earlier, deleting a character will leave you unable to restore it until the cooldown expires.

Deleting the character is usually not necessary but might speed up the process. It usually fixes itself within a day even doing nothing.

Generally not, but mine lasted for almost a week and just giving what I was told by via response.
Please file a bug report on it. Give character, realm, date, and time(if possible). This bug is really random and that makes it difficult to squash. The more data QA gets on it, the more likely they can find what is causing it.
The signs of it include totally empty bags and bank and void storage, no gear on character, missing artifact and legendary items (that you can’t delete, sell or disenchant). Unlike an account compromise, you still have all your gold. Another symptom of this bug is that your Armory page also shows you with no gear.
Sometimes is just lasts for a short period of time. Sometimes days. Sometimes longer. Resetting your UI is a good first step. Addons have been known to “hide” all the items in your bag and/or bank. Addons won’t cause the Armory issue though.
